Soothing Dental

I never thought that in addition to receiving professional treatment in the clinic, I could gain a sincere friend! I have been treated here for a year half. At first, I was attracted by the environment of the clinic, and then I was conquered by the Dr. Stella’s professional treatment. Later, the Dr. Stella gave me a lot of inspiration of the life besides treating teeth. There is also beautiful Nancy, who always serves me warmly and politely. I’d like to give five stars plus for the excellent clinic! Very Seriously!

I had stains from coffee and was due for a cleaning. Got that as well as a high polish with an interesting air polisher made in Switzerland called EMS, with lemon flavor! It left my teeth well polished and free of stains.
Had never had teeth whitening done before; there I had two 20-min whitening sessions, each left my teeth 3 shades whiter than what we started with!
Had no sensitivity or pain after, and it was quite straight forward in fact. The chair massage was on which made it comfortable while my teeth were getting treated.
It was easy, fast and comfortable.
The staff were knowledgeable, kind and caring.
Quite happy that Iended up in the chair!

Went for a cleaning and a consultation for an oral appliance for sleep apnea in December. Prior to scheduling with them, I did tons of research trying to find dentists in my network. The receptionist at Soothing in SF told me they were in fact in my network, so I scheduled. Fast forward to today, I get an email for a $300 bill because my “copay” was too high…. I literally have $27 left to pay of a $150 out of network deductible. AVOID this place, absolute scam.

Other than being a total scam, that was the first time I have ever been in actual pain after a regular cleaning. No bedside manner and no regard for your comfort. 10/10 would not recommend.

Soothing dental is the place to goo if your feeling nervous about any dental work you might need to get. I am in the process of getting my first cavities taken care of and from the front desk to the Socorro they done everything to make me comfortable. I am recommending this place to everyone I know

Finally, a dental office that I actually enjoy visiting. From start to finish, the staff has been very kind and accommodating. Nancy at the front desk was very helpful getting me brought in as a new patient, and saved me the expected stress of getting insurance sorted out.

The office and exam rooms are well-kept, with a beautiful view to appreciate when you're on the chair. Dr. Saeidi is an exceptional dentist, and made my wisdom teeth extraction a relatively painless experience.

Really didn't expect to write a dentist review, but Soothing Dental deserves a good one.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Wonderful customer service and they truly live up to their name of soothing dental.

I was recently seeking a new dentist closer to my office for my 6-month cleaning and checkup. I found Soothing Dental online and called to see if they accepted my insurance, and they said "yes, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance".

So I went ahead and made my appointment and gave them all my insurance details. Note: my insurance covers 100% of routine checkups and cleaning.

When I arrived at the office, they again check my insurance card. I had the appointment and start to leave but they ask me to go into a "consultation room". She comes in and shows me a $507 bill. OMG

At this point (after the exam and cleaning) it was revealed Soothing accepts my insurance BUT are "out of network". It seemed like this was intentionally not communicated because I obviously would have gone somewhere else if I knew this. My insurance ended up paying exactly 8% of the bill, so I paid over $450 when it would have been $0 at an in-network dentist.

Also $507 is a ridiculous fee for checkup, x-rays and cleaning. My previous dentist billed $200 -- but it was 100% covered by insurance. I am sprinting back to my old dentist and writing him sonnets! This is also a good lesson to always check coverage with your insurance yourself, and not trust what a doctor's office says.

And as a final note, when I brought up the the issue they just kept reminding me they do indeed accept my insurance but are out of network. Didn't reduce the bill by $1.

I was recommended this office by a friend and it has been my best dentist experience in SF by far. Stella was my technician and she was more than thorough. I have always secretly thought had issues with my gums/wisdom teeth and being able to brush behind my back molars and Stella was the first technician in my life to actually talk to me about it.

I really get the feeling that all the folks in this office really care. Dr. Saedi talked me through all my dental procedures very well, gave me best-case / worse-case scenarios as well as options for what my insurance/out of pocket would be.

Often I feel like dentist offices are trying to up sell me and that is not the case at all here. Super welcoming, and they work well with my schedule. Highly recommended!

Wow! Couldn’t ask for a better experience at Soothing Dental.

Nancy is an awesome receptionist who really creates a calming atmosphere in the waiting room and is also very communicative and compassionate.

Cathy is a great and personable employee who really made me feel at ease while doing X-rays.

And finally, Doctor Saeidi was such a charismatic and confident dentist. She really made me feel like I was progressing on my oral health journey.

Would definitely recommend!

This dentist's office was great. Probably up there with the best care I've received from a dentist and they have the latest technology to be as efficient as possible. For my first appointment, they had me come in a little early to let them know my history and what I was seeking. All for the sake of being able to better their treatment and cater to my concerns. I was happy to see they cared. They have plenty of options to care for you such as numbing mouth wash, anesthesia if you're not keen on visiting but still have to, whitening treatments, teeth aligning plans, etc. Pretty much whatever your concerns may be, they will listen and do their best to accommodate. I recommend them and appreciated their care. The only thing I think they can improve on was my wait time to have the dentist see me after I was done with the hygienist but overall was satisfied with them.
