I love Dr. Trotter! It has been challenging to find a good dentist who you trust and who cares about you in the LA area. 2 years ago I started going to Dr. Trotter when she bought out the practice. What I love about this place is that they look up pricing ahead of time with your insurance (if you have any) and have you sign off on it ahead of time so you don't get yourself in a bind and not know how much a certain service cost. When I was between jobs, they helped me to figure out alternative options for my issues. This year I got Invisalign through them & my teeth have never been straighter. Getting compliments left & right. They are great communicators & every time I come in, they remember me and all welcome me. Super friendly, helpful & communicative staff. I highly recommend this place.

I have always had a fear of dentists, but Dr. Trotter puts me at such ease because she has such a professional aura about her. She is by far the very best dentist that I have ever gone to. Aside from her being caring, she is very gentile & I have great trust in her abilities. Plus every one in her office is great & very friendly. I urge everybody that needs a fantastic dentist to see Dr. Trotter.

I haven’t gone to the dentist even for routine checkups in years. So I was VERY nervous about how things would go. That’s where Dr. Shir comes in!! She was really comforting to be around. Dentists get very judgy when you haven’t taken great care of your teeth. Dr. Shir wasn’t like that. She sympathized with my plight and gave helpful tips about taking care of my teeth when I can’t come in regularly for check ups.

Going to go back soon for the dental day spa… sounds awesome!

I first became a patient of Dr. Nushin Shir in January 2014. I had recently had 3 implants placed by another dentist, in the upper left and was unable to chew properly - the teeth didn’t quite meet. There were many other issues with my teeth: one of the three relatively new crowns in my front teeth - just one year old - came out. Apparently the post was too short and therefore there wasn’t much to hold the crown in (I ended up replace all three crowns and splinting them to make them more stable); work needed to be done on the lower right, lower left. A lot of work. Nine months and many thousands of dollars. Dr. Shir was very careful and conservative in her approach - it was challenging because it seemed every week there was another “emergency”. I am happy to report that I am able to finally chew properly, my teeth look great. Dr. Shir took the time to match colors, to create a mouth that was not only functional but pretty. She really cares about her patients. I consider Dr. Shir an artist and a healer. I would highly recommend Artistic Center for Dentistry in Santa Monica.

Dr. Trotter is an excellent and knowledgeable dentist with a gentle touch. Today was my first visit and had x-rays and a cleaning. Her staff is very friendly and professional. Her office manager Keiona explains benefits and costs in a simple and efficient manner. Dr. Trotter took the time took the time to explain things and I did not feel rushed. I am pleased that I found Dr. Trotter's practice.

Dr. Trotter and her team are simply the best. They somehow make going to the dentist something I look forward to, as impossible as that sounds. Every time I visit, I know I am receiving the best care and from some of the nicest people. In fact, I make an hour drive to and from Pasadena just so that I can be in their capable hands. Thank you, Artistic Center for Dentistry - you are the best!

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Shir and her entire team. I have been going to Dr. Shir for over 3 years and every time that I need anything her and her team are very prompt and courteous. On top of this her work is flawless. I do refer her services to my entire office team, friends, family as well as any person looking for a Dentist. I absolutely love Dr. Shir and her entire team!

I'm a total dental chicken to the point where I'd find any excuse to not go to the dentist and when I did it would be after years of not going and needing a great deal of work.

Dr. Nushin Shir made me feel safe on the first time I had an appointment with her. A couple little cavities in my mouth and some other little tid bits and she made me feel at ease, like I can call the pace of what needs to be done and totally in control. She and the front dest were extremely helpful in explaining everything, not feeling lost, and we walked through every step to help me feel at ease.

Daniel, Laura, Heather, and the gentleman behind the desk were also extremely kind, personable, and felt like I had known these people for a while when we really were strangers at first.

Im very happy to know Dr. Nushin Shir is my dentist and to be a part of a practice like theirs.

Very unpleasant experience overall. I came here really hoping to have a new dentist in CA, as I just moved here. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back. I was told I could get "half" of my teeth cleaned and come back another time to finish the other half by the receptionist. They were clearly overbooked or understaffed. Then, we proceeded to battle about finding a new time when I could come back. I took time off of work to driving an hour up to Santa Monica, thinking I would be getting my teeth cleaned... didn't happen.

Every dentist I've been to in the past has always been able to complete x-rays in 30 minutes and a full cleaning in an hour to an hour and a half. Here, after 2 hours I left with just x-rays- no cleaning, no fillings, and no trust.

It's too bad because the doctor is nice, but the rest of the staff just isn't very friendly or accommodating. As a new patient I was expecting top-notch service in hopes of returning, but instead I was left feeling uncomfortable and defeated. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone.

I went to the Artistic Center for Dentistry because it is very near to my apartment and I was overdue for my cleaning. I had full X-rays, a consultation with the doctor and a very nice cleaning. I am very glad I went there. Everyone is very nice, professional and the office is very clean. I'm always going to this office from now on.
