I started going to Dr. Martinez a couple of years ago. Having been a customer of Comfort Dental before. He and his staff were a breath of fresh air. Dr. Martinez advised me on my issues and unlike others he always opted to take care of my needs and not to always push for the most extreme treatment . My teeth look great and He has a customer for life.

Today I had my first check up appointment with Dr. Martinez. This was the best check up I ever got, he paid attention to details no other dentist has ever checked. The cleaning went quick and painless, I am happy with the result and will be back in six months!

In 2011 Mr. Martinez intentionally loosened a 20 year filling. When he claimed to be checking the filling he pulled so hard on the pick he used that I could feel his arm shaking with force.
Whe. The filling made a popping and cracking sound. I immediately asked" What was that" . He replied,"oh its nothing.
Two weeks later my filling fell out. Approximately 6 months after that, I finally returned to have the filling replaced.He overdrilled all the way to the nerve,, way past where he should have- the original fi lling had been superficial-small.. In fact, as he was drilling he stated, huh it needs more drilling that I thought."
He hollowed out the entire tooth. I have had pain and discomfort ever since. I only relatively recently realized that Martinez had in fact drilled all the way to the nerve. He did it in retaliation for my having spoken ill of the Catholic church as I sat in the chair. I should have known better.
I will file a lawsuit against him, soon. Thankfully, I am well within the time-frame in which to file a lawsuit
In fact, when I had been there he had mentioned how someone had been suing him, then. I should have gotten a hint.

Could of had the consistent business of our large family but when brought my youngest, 13, for a check up and filling he talked her out of the procedure because he didn’t want to deal with her. We wasted our insurance yearly check up fee and have to go to another doctor. I’m quite angry. I asked him to tell her that everything would be OK and he said in front of her I can’t promise that. The nurse at the doctors give shots, doesn’t give the child an option, When she broke her arm, again, the child didn’t have an option, she had to have the surgery, he gave her the option to not get the filling and basically scared her into not getting the filling ALL because he didn’t want to. SHAME on him.

Not only is Dr. Martínez gentle and kind he is also honest. He will not recommend treatment that is unnecessary to make a buck. I had some major work done at another dentist last year. He told me that I had gum disease and that I would need a root scaling and deplaning. This turned out to be FALSE. Dr. Martínez told what I needed and it was way less than what the other dentist PUSHED for, I will not be returning to the other dentist. I will be going to Dr. Martínez until one of us dies or he retires! Awesome dentist and Angelica is awesome too!

He is very good dentist. He always answered all my questions, he is very honest and knowledgeable person. His equipment is not very sophisticate, but if you are looking for someone that does not care only about the money.....and cares about the good service and customer satisfaction Dr. Martinez is the right dentist for you.
