If you are like me an would ALMOST rather suffer through tooth pain than go to the dentist I have found the dentist for you!
I almost fainted after getting the numbing shot not because it hurt but because I am a big baby when it comes to sitting in the dentist chair. They took care of me until I had my color back and felt better. When it was time to get to work I didn’t feel a thing! While I have had questionable experiences with several other dental offices in my years these professionals are very kind and highly skilled in their field.
I truly thank God for giving us these dentists!

Dr Meritt and her assistant were amazing! I got my Wisdom teeth out and a cleaning. I was nervous for the appointment but they both made me feel so at ease. Dr Meritt even gave me a call later that day to make sure I was feeling good after the appointment. This is my second visit and I am so satisfied with each visit. The staff is also great! Everyone is working so hard during these busy times to make sure the patient is taken care of. Thank you Comfort Dental on Lemay! You guys are amazing!

I’ve had 8 fillings and 3 wisdom teeth extracted at this location. Dr. Merritt was my dentist for all appointments and showed great professionalism and skill each time. I was in and out of my wisdom tooth removal in thirty minutes! Everyone here is friendly and professional, and it’s a clean and open facility. I would definitely recommend this place.

Haven't been to the dentist in a while, but I used these guys a long time ago and had success. I went in, had X-rays, and had a chipped tooth and needed a root canal on another tooth.

After getting in there, the dentist realized I didn't need a root canal and just filled the tooth. He used some kind of bondo on the chipped tooth, and smoothed it out as well. I got a cleaning too.

So, in the long run it's saved me hundreds of dollars. That's unheard of from a dentist.

I'll definitely be going back there again.

Dr. Merritt is just wonderful! She is warm and friendly, and very thorough in her work. She also answers all my questions. She is generous with her time on every visit, even though she is busy. I always enjoy my dental visits with her. And my teeth have never looked better!

I scheduled an appointment and told the receptionist I had dental work done somewhere else a few months ago, so all I wanted today was my permanent retainer (a metal wire glued to the back of my teeth) removed and a small hole in my tooth (not a cavity) filled in. I sat for 30 minutes in the waiting room and then went to sit with Mr. Haschke in a private room. He started talking about doing a cleaning and X-rays, and I reiterated what I wanted done today. He told me dentists never remove the wires, only an orthodontist can, but he still needed to do an X-ray (for some reason?). I said a dentist recently removed my friend’s retainer, so I would like mine off too. I keep getting cavities and plaque around the retainer because my teeth shifted and I cannot floss between the teeth anymore. Once again he said I should do an X-ray and then he’d just remove the cavities and the plaque (obviously trying to get a repeat customer and more money). Again, I said I didn’t want that because I don’t want this repeating problem anymore, I just want the retainer taken off so I can better care for my teeth. He said, and I quote, “I’m the dentist and I’ve been doing this for 25 years, so just do what I say.” Ew?? How gross and unprovoked. If you don’t know how to do something/ just don’t want to, you can say that without being a creep. I asked if he would still fill the hole in my tooth, and he said he needed an X-ray of the retainer. I said the two were not related, the hole is on a top tooth and the retainer is on the bottom. I said I’m not doing an X-ray while I’m here since I just had one done 4 months ago, and he asked what I wanted to do. I said I would just go since he wouldn’t do either of the things I said I needed when I scheduled. It’s super awesome that my husband had to take off of work to be with our kids so I could go here.

A few days later I went to another dentist, not an orthodontist, and she happily removed my retainer (which took about 3 whole minutes) and filled the hole. She even recommends most adults getting the retainer removed since they are notorious for causing plaque and cavities. Save your time and money and go somewhere else that has competent workers and actually cares about assisting their patients.

My experience here was very nice. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and they didn't give me any grief about it and actually changed my mind about going as often as I should. I went in for initial exam and x-rays this morning and was able to get a cleaning and fillings the same day. The dentist and her assistants are very pleasant and comforting. I am really glad I came here.

As someone who has had negative experiences and anxiety at the dentist in the past, I am happy to say that I had a truly different experience with Dr. Merritt! I had negelected taking care of teeth for some time, but since seeing Dr. Merritt my oral hygiene has drastically improved. She was friendly and professional, and she always made me feel comfortable. She even called after my appointments to make sure that I was doing alright! I definitely recommend her for anyone needing dental work done.

I have autism. Noise terrifies me sometimes so dental work up until now has been traumatic at best. Dr. G is the kindest most understanding dentist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He took my condition into consideration and went out of his way to make me comfortable. He found me a set of headphones to help with the noise on my first visit. Yesterday, I had 5 fillings done at the same time. It took an hour and a half and they made sure I could take a break, that I understood everything they were doing and they were very gentle. Today I expected a very sore mouth. But they did everything so carefully, the only part that is slightly tender, is my jaw from being open so long. I am in awe of how amazing the people at this office are. I will never go anywhere else from now on. If you need exceptional care, come here. I give 100 Stars!
