Parkway Dental

I arrived to my appointment on time and had to wait over 2 hours past my appointment time to see the doctor. I drove in from out of town and needed to be back to work this afternoon. I will have to cancel my appointment with a patient which will cost me 200 dollars and possibly loose this patient due to this doctors lack of time management and respect of other peoples time.

Had 8 implants install and in November they scheduled me for Jan 2, 9, 17 and 24th to be fitted for teeth. I arrived for my 10:30 appointment on time and had a xray. Then went to exam room where I waited for over a hour and a half. After he got done doing the scan he said they would have to reschedule my appointments. The girl came in and said they had to order parts because I
was not a normal client. Nothing done today changed what was going to be done. I had arranged my work schedule for the month and made hotel reservations. And they have to change all this. Very unprofessional. I worry about going back. Dont know how much it will cost to go to a good dentist to finish what they started. Watch out for them!!!

The practice is reasonably priced. The staff and Dr. Hanson are pleasant. I had been quite pleased with the dentistry up till my last procedure. An implant he placed broke. He removed the broken implant and repaired the bone to place a new one. Three attempts later to get it replaced I gave up. First they said they didn't have a part. Second time I had to have a small infection taken care of. The third time they said there was not enough bone to place a new implant. All three times I never saw the Dentist. He could have told me that a year ago. It's like they were looking for an excuse not to fix it. Wont be going back.

I just want to thank Parkway Dental for giving me my smile back. I am very grateful. The staff are amazing and do everything to make you comfortable.

I stuck it out with Parkway dental because they started a procedure and I figured it be best to finish, but this is the worst dentist I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to several because I’ve moved a lot. He has absolutely no bedside manner and no communication whatsoever he literally got up and left after each procedure without explaining anything to me and doesn’t even say he’s finished. He didn’t even do what he needed to do in my mouth but had the poor dental tech try to explain it to me and she had no idea what to explain. He left me in excruciating pain but didn’t tell me what to do or how to move forward to solve the problem. And this has happened on every single occasion. The lack of communication is unreal when you’re dealing with patients who have no idea what to expect or what is going on because we aren’t familiar with the field. The ladies in there are really doing all the work. I will tell everybody I know and make it loud and clear to avoid this place.

I want to give a shout out to the staff at Parkway Dental. They are amazing and outstanding group of people. Tiffany at the front desk always greets and welcomes me by my name. Holly, who cleans my teeth, has an infectious personality because she is so joyful. Kai is relatable and knowledgeable and Dr. Hanson is professional and does excellent work. You can't go wrong with him working on your smile, but my favorite person is Leah. She always makes me feel welcomed and I really like her. She is the one person I am always looking for when I am in there because she spends the time with me answering my questions. She never makes me feel uncomfortable and honestly she is the best. What a keeper!!! Thank you Parkway Dental for doing such a great job. Highly recommended.

I have always longed for a pretty smile but even with good insurance, regular dental care was way too expensive. A co-worker recommended Parkway Dental and I am so happy that I went!
I had full implants done that were a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere.
Clemont did a beautiful job & answering my questions. The girls in the office are so friendly and eased my nervousness. I rarely saw the dentist, though. That was a bit disappointing .

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and courteous, however they can't make up for the dentist, himself. His staff does all the work and you only see him when he has to, by law, do a particular procedure himself. He will not consult with a patient by phone if there has been a problem and, even worse, the receptionist doesn't answer the phone. You must leave a voice mail and hope they will get back to you that same day. His prices only seem lower than other dentists in the area, but that is because the place is run like a cattle call, again, because his staff does most of your dental procedures. I would advise anyone to call around Grand Junction for other clinics first. Call other offices (they have actual people answer their phones!).

I've been a patient of Dr Hanson at Parkway Dental for three years. After extensive restorative work including a root canal, two dental implants (individual teeth) and two fillings, I highly recommend Parkway Dental. They developed a care plan with cost estimates for each procedure and time frames which was very helpful in budgeting and planning restorative dental care.

I went in for a cleaning and check up with parkway about a week ago. I don’t think you can do better for the price then parkway dental. They have a great staff and the owner and his wife are very good humored and professional. My hygienist, Amy, did a amazing job and was above and beyond what I expected.
