Dentists of Greenwood

I had the most pleasant experience at the Dentists of Greenwood! Everyone from the front desk, to the dental hygienist, to the dentist - they were all so friendly and kind throughout the entire process. Dentists aren’t the most fun place to visit, but the folks here made the visit seamless and wonderful. I would 100% recommend this place :)

Beware - One star is not deserved but I am required to choose. I feel responsible to let others know the awful experience I had in hopes it does not happen to anyone else. I went for a routine cleaning, had no issues. Doc said I needed deep cleaning and two crowns (next to each other). Had this done, severe pain followed and could not chew. After multiple bite adjustments with no improvement, I was told I needed two root canals on those two crowned teeth. In addition, the overall experience of the team was very insensitive to this point. I decided to get a second opinion. One crown fell out and the other had to be replaced as well and had decay under it. Once both were replaced and bite fixed, I DID NOT need two root canals. In the end, after more than 10 dentist appointments in a few weeks I was totally traumatized. I am convinced this clinic is doing extremely poor quality work and recommending services that are not needed. I have filed a formal grievance with my insurance company. My new dentist is wonderful and turned everything around.

I never feel compelled to write a negative review, but Dentists of Greenwood takes the cake! This location is a for-profit business first, and will prey off your ignorance to recommend unnecessary and expensive services. I came in for a regular dental cleaning a while back, and I was told that I had severe gum disease and would need an expensive laser/deep cleaning treatment to reverse it. I was completely blown back since I have never had a dentist tell me this before. This service would have cost close to $900 out of pocket. When I denied this service, they refused to do the dental cleaning I originally came in for. The demeanor of the front desk staff will change immediately if you refuse their sales pitch, as I was met with very rude and hostile attitudes from the secretary after I said no. I changed dentists and my new dentist told me that a deep cleaning treatment was completely unnecessary and only done if the patient shows bone decay. At my new dentist, I was told my teeth look great! If you are looking for a dentist in the area, I highly recommend Nouvelle Dentistry or Espire Dental! They are much more thorough, detailed, and will actually show you the x-rays/pictures of your teeth during your exam, and won't try to sell you expensive or unnecessary services.
Do better, Dentists of Greenwood. It is no wonder your office has a high turn over rate.
Please, please, please don't let these people touch your teeth.

DO NOT GO HERE! The chubby, eye fluttering office manager just flirted with me in attempt to take all the money she could. The doctor was quick and rude as well. Spent 5 minutes with me then sent chubby in with a $2000 cleaning! Second opinion showed no gum disease. Happy I got a second opinion. Don’t let the chubby win!

I had used their sister office and had good experiences so I thought I would give this office a try for my crazy tooth issues. Lo and behold I was greeted by Bianca who was so happy to see me. She is such a caring person. She introduced me to her manager Nicole who was also very kind and helpful. The entire back staff was amazing and now I will just have to go in between the two offices. They are both awesome. I highly recommend if you need dental help use one of these offices.

The office is very clean and efficient. There was no wait time. In fact, I was early to me appointment and was taken right in for my cleaning. The staff and dentists are very friendly. I was surprised to have the dentist do the actual cleaning, as that has not happened at other dental offices. Also, all the equipment used appears very state of the art! I’m impressed!

I haven’t even made it in, and my appointment has been rescheduled over the phone, which is not a problem. Then I got a text message that my appointment was cancelled the week of my appointment. Who cancels appointments nowadays without talking to your patients on the phone? I responded to this general text mailbox and asked if my appointment was cancelled (just to confirm). They said yes it was cancelled because they need my insurance info to verify. Otherwise I would get a cash rate — which to me, why did you not call me or ask for it then? At this point, I asked them to simply cancel. If you had questions about my insurance, that would prompt a call, not a cancellation and then a text response. The client service is lacking here.

Edna is officially my go-to hygienist in Denver. I admittedly hadn't gone to a dentist in years because 1.) I have a phobia of going to the dentist and 2.) I had a great dentist in the Bay Area that I refused to replace.

Then I realized I HAVE to go. I made an appointment and when I got there everyone at the office was so, so nice. They're extremely accommodating and I love how personal Edna is. I feel like she genuinely cares about her patients and I never felt shamed. In fact, I went out and bought a cheap water pick (per Edna's recommendations) and am using it every day because she motivated me to take my oral hygiene seriously. In the past, I was shamed about not taking good care of my teeth and didn't improve my oral hygiene to spite the doctor (I know, I know, I'm petty).

This office *always* goes over prices before moving forward with any procedures, which I appreciate so much because I don't have to ask the awkward question of, "how much is this going to cost me?"

Also, can I just say that when Edna administered my local anesthetic I felt nothing--NOTHING! That's when I knew I was coming back. She's so gentle but always informs me what she's going to do next so I'm not taken by surprise. She's extremely candid and checked in every few minutes while she was working on my teeth to make sure I was OK.

A+ dental service. I'm glad I found my new dentist!

I’m not a huge fan of the dentist in general and have had such a good experience here. Edna is great - so personable and direct. She is gentle and does a very thorough job. Dr Ho is very knowledgeable and talks through options without the sales pitch. They get me in for cleaning and exams on time and it is quick and painless. Couldn’t ask for more.

Edna is the best in the biz! It took me about a year to realize that she isn’t the owner because of how invested she is in the business! She knows my name, and asks me personalized questions. She makes me feel comfortable, even though it can be uncomfortable to talk about our mouths. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable smiling with my teeth. Unheard of!
Nicole and Raelynn are helpful, attentive, and genuine. I’m always greeted with a smile when I walk in, and they always go the extra mile to answer questions.
Dr Lowey is probably the best doctor of any kind I’ve ever seen. During surgery, he worked quickly but thoroughly. After my surgery, he called to check on how I was feeling. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and goes the extra mile.
I’m so glad I’ve found this place, and I hope you have the same experience I did.
