I felt so safe and comfortable during my first visit at Avenue Dental Arts! Their check-in process with COVID precautions was easy and streamlined. Every person that I interacted with was super friendly, patient, and took the time to explain every step. Having been too nervous to go back to a dentist in 3 years, I'm so glad I started coming to this practice. Dr. Saferin is the best! Thank you!

I have a great experience with Dr.Best. I went to other dental clinic before and felt disappointed at them. They told me to do the deep cleaning but they even did not it measure my pockets. I came to see Dr. Best for consultation. She explained what the deep cleaning it’s in detail and asked me whether I am willing to do the X-Rey and pocket check. Today Dr. Best did a very professional cleaning and put a lot of effort to remove my stains. She measured my pocket and determined I don’t need to do the deep cleaning since my number is normal within the range. After removing some stains, it’s clearly that I don’t have cavities in those teeth. All staff are very helpful and courteous. Definitely will recommend to other people.

I was referred to Dr.Best over 20 years ago and eventually my husband, both my sons and my sister have become patients of hers. I've recommended her to many others and have invited her to come into my office as part of a marketing effort she was trying. In case you can't tell, I am a big fan of Dr.Best's and mighty pleased to let people know that. My sister has an intellectual disability and over the years has required some extensive dental work. Dr.Best has always been very caring and understanding of the patience needed to work with my sister, who looks forward to our visits to the office without any hesitation. One son, who now lives in southern CT,still comes to West Hartford to have Dr.Best take care of him. These are my reasons for strongly endorsing Dr.Best,her staff and the professionalism she consistently demonstrates.

My experience with Best Smiles started off fine and then went downhill significantly. I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about who I choose for service, so here is the recap of my experience. I had to have both routine and more significant dental work done and started this process at Best Smiles. They did not inform me they were out of my network and that I would probably be paying more to go there, like every other dentist I have ever gone to, but I can take responsibility for that. This was all very costly and my insurance didn't cover any of the more significant work and didn't cover all of the routine preventative care. I figured this was due my insurance and there was nothing I could do. The fee schedule Best Smiles charges is higher than average, but the service was good, it was convenient so I accepted that extra cost. I then upgraded my dental insurance in the new year to prevent such costly work from happening again. The next service I was to receive by Best Smiles was a standard cleaning typically covered 100% by insurance (unless you have a deductible). I called Best Smiles to make sure that a standard cleaning would be covered by my insurance plan. I understand that my insurance will allocate a certain dollar amount to certain services, and that a dentist might charge more than that for a given service. This was the reason for my call, to see if there was a differential or not since I was still paying off the $3000 in Dental bills from my previous work done. I spoke with the receptionist who asked me a series of questions from my insurance card, and then told me that the cleaning would be completely covered. I literally said, "I do not want to be surprised by a bill", to which she said "I understand, because you are still paying off your crown." This conversation could not have been more clear. I was surprised by a bill. I called and tried to rectify the situation and in response I received a denial of what I was told, basically called a liar by Dr. Best, because what I was saying couldn't possibly be true, and no resolution. I have never had such poor customer service. I really believe the receptionist simply made a mistake, and should have said she had no way of knowing, or couldn't find out and directed me to call my insurance company, given me the amount they charge, and asked me to compare the costs myself. Not given me the impression "I would be fine". I'm just floored at no attempt to correct the mistake. Simply eating the difference in cost of the cleaning to what my insurance paid (keep in mind I'm paying thousands of dollars for other services all within a years time, or offered to take a percentage would have been a great way to handle their mistake in information given. My last conversation with Dr. Best was that the receptionist would follow up with me. I then received a copy of my original paperwork with a bunch of things underlined. I'm assuming its an attempt to point out this is all my fault. No follow up. A business unwilling to correct a $80 mistake (after my deductible) is not deserving of my loyalty as a customer. I had referred 3 people, purchased a $200 toothbrush, and absorbed the higher costs of service, all to be disregarded over $80. Use this information before becoming a client.

So very pleased with my experience with Dr. Saferin and her staff. Dr. Saferin, her assistant Nermina, Dina in the front office, and hygienist Michelle were all so warm and welcoming. Each of them took the time to inform me every step of the way, leading to a feeling of comfort and calm. An impressive group.

The best dental office I've ever been to and the only one I'll ever go to again. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are at a resort spa. Dr. Best explains every procedure that needs to be done in a way you can understand and genuine cares about you and your entire oral hygiene.

Dr. Best is the best! I have been a patient of hers my whole life and I have always had a wonderful time with her. The addition of the comfort menu is a great feature now! The wait times are never bad and she is quick to respond if you need an emergency visit.

This office ADA, is great! Dr. Tori and staff are professional, caring, positive and friendly. (everything I need when I go to the dentist). Most importantly, the high level of care I received was exceptional.
I definitely recommend checking them out. They (Docs & Staff) ALL are wonderful!

Jeane has been my dentist since I moved to the Hartford area 30 years ago and I have been happy as clam with her services. When people tell me they are afraid of their dentist, I don't understand why - and then suggest that they might want to try Jeane. Her office is lovely, calming and easy to get to. Her staff could not be friendlier and the care she gives is exemplary. The thing I like best about seeing Jeane is that you actually see Jeane - not a dental hygienist who does all the work with the dentist popping in to say "hi." It may be a little more expensive than the dental mill offices (and I don't know that it is as I have never gone to one) but the personal service and care a patient receives is definitely worth what you pay.
