Rovi Smile Center Dentist

I have attended Dr. Rovirosa's practice since he opened in the Coral Springs location many years ago. I am disgruntled because each time I went for a visit over the past year plus I was informed that I needed a procedure (crown, deep cleaning etc..) that was way more expensive than anything I had encountered over the many years. When I questioned why the deep cleaning was so expensive (over $1000 out of pocket), I was just told that 's the cost. What I wasn't told is that he was no longer accepting MetLife insurance as an in-network provider. Then on my last visit (for a maintenance cleaning) I was told I needed a crown on a tooth due to a whole in my upper right side. I swear the person cleaning my teeth was digging in the area for 5-10 minutes making it larger! To make a long story short when I was told the price of the crown, I couldn't believe it. Another $1000+ out of pocket. When I questioned why it cost so much at check out and if a crown was necessary I was told yes, that's the cost and yes, it's necessary. Another opportunity to tell me that's the OUT-OF-NETWORK price for a crown. Once I researched with MetLife, I found out the deal.....they never came clean about why it was costing me more than I expected even though I asked each time an expensive procedure was recommended since 2020. After writing the office about my leaving him as a patient , I received an e-mail stating that they informed had informed all patients by e-mail in April 2020 that he was no longer accepting MetLife In-Network. ... I certainly never received and/or read it, otherwise I would have looked for another dentist immediately. The worst part is I found a new in-network doctor who is very highly rated closer to my home. I went in for my first visit and told him about the whole that may need a crown in my upper right side. After he examined the area very closely, he told me that he didn't feel a crown was necessary and that that area should be fine for quite some time. This made the recent experience with Dr. Rovi's staff that much worse. This was a perfect opportunity for the new dentist to capitalize on what I had been recommended by Dr. Rovi to make some $$$ and yet he was honest with me to say, he didn't find it necessary. Yes, Dr. Rovi's staff is always friendly on the phone and during my office visits, but that doesn't lessen (actually makes it worse) how deceived and disappointed that I feel!

The staff here are WONDERFUL! Communication is impeccable. The office is clean and bright. They are very flexible with payments that are not covered by your insurance. Dental services are top notch too!!! I would recommend this office for anyone needed dental services.

I wish I started going to Rovi Smile Center years ago when my friend told me about it. It is such a relaxed, yet professional dentist office. The entire staff is great and believe it or not make you feel like your home, at the dentist. Hard to believe. If you are looking for a new dentist this is the place to go.

I have been going to this office for years and they make you feel like family. The front desk is warm and engaging while the dental care is exceptional. Dr Rovi pays attention to every detail and has taken on a hygienist who is meticulous at her job.

I never do surveys but this time I felt compelled to do this after my experience at Dr. Rovi's office. I am very nervouse about going to the Dentist and I have anxiety just thinking about it, but their staff and Dr. Rovi really made me feel comfortable and explained everything in great detail. It made me relax and not think of it negatively. I highly recommend this Dentist. Thank you again for the positive experience!

Been going here for years now. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. They really take the time to get to know on a personal level and provide caring evaluations that you can understand. The environment makes them a dentist you can trust and not be afraid of your teeth anymore.

What a great Dentist Office! My husband is very hard to please when it comes to any dr.'s or dentist. He was very pleased. I just switched over to the Rovi Team and love the staff. My 3 boys & their families will be joining the team very soon. Thank you for a peasant experience.

Called because I got a text alert they had an opening for a cleaning. I was then told I needed to do a full exam plus xrays even though I only wanted a cleaning. I never heard of anything like that. Since I had xrays done a few months ago by another dentist there was no way I was going to do all of that. If I wanted a checkup I would have booked that. Its clear that dentists especially in this area don't really make any money on cleanings. Which is why they usually fit in a small number of them per day and clients have a hard time booking an appointment. So dentists wonder why many customers are not happy?
