Rovi Smile Center Dentist

My husband Tim just returned from a great visit at Dr. Rovi’s office. Needless to say, Dr . Rovi and staff are always terrific. Today, he was also impressed with a new technician, Isbet, who was very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. My husband came home quite satisfied!

I have been going here for over 4 years. I needed to have a root canal procedure done and I was kind of nervous. When he numbed my mouth to start a procedure you don’t even feel a thing. He does it so smoothly I thought I’d feel a little pinch but felt absolutely NOTHING. He has amazing experience and a very steady hand. He always tells you what you are about to feel and guides you throughout the process as he’s working on your teeth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I think it’s safe to say this guy is probably one of the best in the game, if not the best. Staff is also very kind and welcoming when you walk through the front door.

I appreciate the attention to detail and care of this team. I’ve never been to a dentist that stresses education and being flexible like Rovi. The friendly staff created a fantastic environment. This is the best dentist’s office I’ve ever visited.

I’ve been a patient for many years. They always take excellent care of me when I am having any procedure done. When they have a full schedule, they always call right away if they get a cancellation. The staff is very nice & accommodating. Most important of all, the procedures are done right the first time without complications.

From the first call this office makes you feel absolutely comfortable. The office is clean and welcoming. The dentist works with you as an individual in every aspect from fears and desires to finances. He makes sure to understand your individual needs and will adjust your treatment plan as needed to give you the greatest satisfaction, health and look for your tastes and your money.

Dr. Rovirosa is an incredibly friendly and gentle dentist. I am in amazement in the difference getting a cavity filled was with Dr. Rovirosa as compared to another dentist (who was basically brutal). I am pregnant and after a few bad dental experiences (especially the last one) I was so fearful of getting more work done, but Dr. Rovirosa and his wonderfully friendly staff changed that completely. I am no longer fearful as long as I see Dr. Rovirosa. I definitely recommend him, especially for pregnant patients.

OK, so I just need to talk about my dental visit a little more. Saying I have a fear of the dentist doesn’t even scratch the surface of my phobia, but from my initial call (hooked up through 1800dentist) I knew I was matched up with a great office! Maybe it helped because the name of the lady I spoke with is Billie!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anyway, the moment I walked in this morning, I was greeted with smiles (genuine, not noticeably fake or forced AT ALL!) and offered something to drink and freshly baked goodies. I was the first one there and while I was completing my paperwork, they excused themselves for their morning meeting. I could hear them and they just sounded like a great group of people! A few more patients arrived in the meantime and they were greeted in the same manner.
Billie was the one who did my initial work up of xrays and such. She was so personable and really made me feel at ease. She remembered talking about my anxiety and reassured me that nitrous is a great option. Then Dr. Rovirosa came in and started his routine. He explained everything he was going to do and did a wonderful job at keeping my nerves from exploding.
Next we go see the hygienist Melissa. OMGoodness! She was the best!!! She explained the nitrous and got it going. She kept asking how I feeling but had to keep reminding me to breath through my nose ~ LOL 🤣 (Oh, and Billie brought a blanket in for me!) She kept me numb pretty well, but had to top it off with more gel a few times. I have extremely sensitive teeth and she was very understanding of that. That whole process can be very traumatizing for me, but she made it extremely tolerable.
When I was checking out and making my next appointment (for tomorrow afternoon) they hooked me up with a pretty decent *goody bag* filled with toothpaste for sensitive teeth, toothbrush, prescription strength toothpaste, floss and my chapstick they gave me after having to keep my mouth pried open and a box of teeth whitening trays. Tomorrow I’m getting my Sonic Care toothbrush.
Oh, and a long-stemmed rose! Like who does that!!!
All in all, I was impressed and satisfied beyond belief. Not to say I won’t be a nervous wreck tomorrow afternoon, but at least I know what to expect!
I don’t really have any FB friends in SoFlo looking for a dentist, but I absolutely recommend them!!

I have been a patient of this Dr for a few years. I keep coming back because the front desk people are pleasant, the Techs are nice and Dr. Rovirosa is awesome. You can’t go wrong with this dentist.

Great experience every time I go. Staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Rovi spends as much time as needed with you to make sure you are comfortable with his recommendations and procedures. Would recommend this practice to anyone.

The best dentist office ever! Dr. Rovi is very knowledgeable and all the staff are super kind and friendly. I always look forward to my appointments!
