My husband and I moved to the area in April. (he is active duty military) I scheduled a new patient appointment (cleaning, Xrays, exam) back in May and they didn't have an opening until October. I still went ahead and made the appointment anways. The receptionist told me that they were hiring a new hygienist and that she(the receptionist) would follow up with me and move my appointment sooner because I was due for a cleaning in August. Well, it's August and no word from the receptionist. I called the office two weeks ago and left a voicemail in regards to this. I also let them know I was having major pain due to my wisdom teeth coming in, and I am having pain with my lower gums. I also sent an email two days later because they never returned my call.
Here I am two weeks later after the call and email. I still have yet to hear anything from this office. I worked in the dental field when I lived in Texas. I was a dental assistant and front desk receptionist. I'm pretty annoyed and not satisfied that I never recieved a follow up. When a patient or possible patient calls and they are in pain you need to call them back. I understand it gets busy, and it was difficult at times juggling multiple tasks..but I am still in pain, and unfortunately had to cancel my appointment in October with this office because I feel like my pain doesn't matter. I left a voicemail to cancel my appointment and asked for a call back. I'm hoping this time I'll actually receive a follow up call.
Please make sure when a patient or new patient calls and is in pain that you acknowledge them and their problem, and help them right away.

Oakleaf Family Dentistry far exceeds my expectations each and every time I visit. Front office staff is efficient, kind and professional. Hygienists and Dr. Falcao always, always perform first rate dental work. They are also amazing teachers regarding keeping healthy teeth and gums.

I've been attending this dentistry for years and Dr. Falco is the best. His staff is awesome as well!

I absolutely loved this this place and would highly recommend it but today was very disappointing. Appointments was originally for my 14 year old and my 5 year old. Last night my 14 year old took her muscle relaxer prescription for the first time and she had an allergic reaction. If you have allergic reactions to fish without being deadly then you may know what I'm talking about, this meant that her epipin wasn't needed. I had to reschedule and that was totally understandable. My 5 year was seen but excuses was made as to why I was was refused services. Here's the excuse "we don't want your 14 year to go into anaphylactic shock while sitting in the lobby" wouldn't this have happened last night at 7pm minutes after taking the muscle relaxer? I would know because she had an allergic reaction to fish and her doctor was contacted immediately, just like she was last night. So I rescheduled. Very disappointing.

Don’t ask patients to come in 15 min early for appts and then make them wait till appt time anyway just to call them up and send them back to they’re car to fill out pointless paperwork and waist 45 min of they’re day when they have to take off work early to make time for you. Thanks have a fantastic day.

Called me not even two hours before my appointment and I couldn’t come in at a later time so they rescheduled me for 2 months out!I had that appointment scheduled since April and confirmed multiple times before.
