I lost a temporary crown while on vacation in south Beach. I was given an appt for the following day and was treated in a very experienced and professional way. Within a short time the cap was recemented and I was back to the beach! I can't say enough good things about this friendly, caring and professional team at South Beach Dentistry

I booked teeth cleaning with Dr. Maya through ZocDoc and almost right away received a phone call stating that the first appointment will be for xrays only and the second appointment will be teeth cleaning. Its not ideal but I went along with it. I arrived to the office and was taken back promptly The dental assistant took xrays and right away discussed a night guard. I just moved here and that is not my main priority at the moment. She went to get the Dr Maya and he came in right away. After glancing at my Xrays he suggested the same thing. After glancing in my mouth for a less than a minute, he told me I have a cavity. I've never had one before and was surprised to hear the news. He didn't seem too concerned but instead talked about the night guard. As he left, he told me to go to the manager to set up my next appointment. I head over to her desk and once again we talked about the night guard and the pricing for everything. I wanted to set up my teeth cleaning, but the computer system was down and she told me they would give me a call back when it is running. Almost immediately after I left, I got an email asking for me to review them. A few days later I got an email with with financial information about the night guard. I was unable to open the file and asked to send it again as well as some information on my cavity. The only response I received was the file sent again, nothing about the teeth cleaning, cavity or my next appointment. I decided to get a second opinion and it turns out I didn't have a cavity. I'm glad I did so or else he would be drilling on a tooth for no reason.

Office was clean and pleasant to walk
in to. Dr Martin Maya was thorough and explained my process . His hygienist were kind and gentle! The location is perfect.

I went in for a check up and to get a cleaning. I have always had great dental care. On my first visit they said I needed a $50 upgrade cleaning and all my fillings removed and replaced. I got a second opinion and normal cleaning from another dentist. I'm very glad I did. The other dentist said my teeth looked normal and did not advise a $50 upcharge cleaning. She suggested only one filling be replaced.

There is no way I will ever come back to this office. My wife was treated by their dental hygienist who hurt her while having her teeth cleaned. I went back there today assuming that that was the freak situation in the same dental hygienist did my cleaning. I am a doctor, and under no circumstances would I recommend that this hygienist ever touch another human being. She didn't hurt me but it was the worst cleaning I've ever experienced. What did hurt was her Non-Stop gaggling and constant litany of nonstop chatter about how well experienced she is and the fact that since her father was a dentist that she knows everything. One of the dentist came into the room and I try discussing some questions I had oh, he wasn't allowed to answer because she put it in and gave all the answers didn't allow the dentist to answer my questions. The dentist himself is a great dentist but as of today is not going to be in that office any longer. I don't think anybody else should ever be in that office again either.

My husband and have been patients of Dr. Zalman for some years now. He is very professional, experienced, and possesses good humor. His staff is warm and very accommodating. I recommended him for all your dental needs.

Major thumbs up, for South Beach Dentistry! I was evacuated from St Thomas to Miami, after Hurricane Irma, and when I snapped the veneer off my left upper front incisor. it was a disaster on top of a disaster! Michelle, the receptionist, realized my near-panic and squeezed me in between scheduled appointments the very same morning, and I had a temporary cap on that very sensitive and exposed nerve by lunch! I was a little annoyed to receive a text the next day asking for a review, but everything DID work out, and I am very pleased with my new permanent crown! (And I really like the group photo on your home page!)

Another MONEY GRABBING South Beach dentist
I went in for a procedure and came out without a tooth and was charged $500 (yes five hundred dollar rip off) for it.

Bad dentist and now a bad excuse.
They not only overcharge for BAD services, now they claim we did not go there, and trying to tell me to go back, so they can steal even more $.
If you need a dentis DO NOT GO THERE. They will RIP YOU OFF
