Dentists at Midtown

I needed a new crown and went back to this place. I found out that Dr. Sweeney was gone, and I was back with Dr. Garcia, who is a pleasure to work with. Everything went well, and within the space of 2 weeks, I had my new crown seated. I would also like to thank Maria, who was assisting Dr. Garcia. She is very knowledgeable about dentistry, as she was a dentist in her own country. I felt very comfortable and at ease with her because she had a very pleasant and friendly bedside manner. I'm glad that she is now working there.

The front staff is very welcoming and helpful. I like how organized everyone is. Parking is very convenient and free in the back. My experience has always been good here.

I did not give 5 Stars because of the selling strategy of the office concerning the deep cleanings and maybe more expensive procedures (unfortunately very common in Miami) but
Dr. Adrian Garcia's work itself is extremely professional and precise (2x Inlays that saved me from putting a more expensive and for me uncomfortable crowns on 2 healthy teeth).
The Dr. gave me excellent service and seems really passionate about the quality of his work and the comfort of the patient.
The inlays are sitting very well, and I have absolutely no discomfort with them even after just a few days. In general, that office is a good dentistry using modern equipment and practices.

Great experience at the Dentist at Midtown! The stuff are very friendly and the dental hygienist was so efficient to get my teeth cleaning done! The process is nice and easy, I was in and out in less than one hour! Highly recommend this place!

I was pleased with the first visit, the dentist was very nice. However, on my second visit, which was a week later on a Saturday, they denied me service because I was more than 5 minutes late. There was absolutely no one in the waiting room and it seemed relatively quite. They told me that the reason they couldn’t see me was because it was the weekend. It seemed like they didn’t care about me or my dental needs. I requested my records and went to a different dentist, where I have had a much better experience at a lower cost. This is my personal experience, I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I really like this dentist office! The workers are friendly and place always looks clean. I really did enjoy my time with Julie who did my dental scan. She was quick, efficient, and very communicative to let me know what was going on. I’ll definitely be back (since it’s close to my house as well 😂) 👍🏾

Everyone was nice and the nurses and doctors were informative. On my extraction visit, the dentist/surgeon/ was very comforting. He And his assistant did a great job pulling out my hard to get wisdom tooth. I will be continuing with Dentists at Midtown to complete all of my dental work.

Due to Dentists at Midtown's mismanagement, they are wanting me to pay more for a treatment that should have been done back in May. I had some cavities that were identified in May, and I came back in October (after multiple previous visits) and those cavities have since worsened and the suggested treatment is 3x the price of a standard filling. They wanted to 'wait' and now my cavities are worse and they get more money! The dental hygienists are amazing and so kind, but beware for Dentists at Midtown trying to get $$$ out of you.

The overall feeling is that they just want to get as much money as they can from you. It’s unpleasant because It’s a dental office, not a car dealership.

They have a tactic that they always use:
You want to do a simple dental cleaning, and they tell you that you MUST do a deep cleaning, otherwise they cannot do the regular one. I know if because they did it to two friends of mine.

I asked how much will it cost me with my dental insurance and they told me $380! For a cleaning!
Now the interesting thing is that three months prior to my visit I visited a relative of mine, one of the best dentists in Colombia and he told me that I don’t need to do a deep cleaning.

I also didn’t like that they TRY TO CHARGE ME BEFORE THE TREATMENT, WHILE I WAS LAYING ON THE BED AT THE TREATMENT ROOM!
What did they think? That I might run away at the end of the treatment without paying??

They also ask you when you arrive to sign different things on a notepad without seeing what you actually sign which is very shady.

They tried to charge me a certain price and after a short negotiation they took it down $200. Again, is it a car dealership or a dental office?
Why they didn’t offer me this price before I negotiated? So someone that do not negotiate (most people) just pay more for the same service?

I’m giving them three stars and not one because at the end of the day the dentist replaced my broken crown successfully within two hours. It seems that he knew what he was doing.

Unfortunately due to the unpleasant feeling I have had, I won’t be back anytime soon and probably ever again.
I will fly to Colombia to do whatever I need. It will be cheaper and I will enjoy a nice vacation along the way.

I've been going for over a year now. Everyone is great here. Highly recommend. Dr Roig and Jose did an excellent job with my Osseous surgery, getting me in and out swiftly. They are serious about gum disease prevention and maintenance and they bring in a bunch of solid doctors to make sure you're getting the best treatment. Just exceptional service every time I visit.

I visited Dentists at Midtown on 12/15/22! I had to immediately write this review to inform what a great experience it was to meet Dr. Garcia and his wonderful staff which included Carolina, Julie, Vinessa, and Laura. My visit which included a check up and cleaning was quick and easy. The location is great and next to the midtown shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking. The waiting room and rooms are clean, cozy, and spacious. Dr. Garcia is friendly and super knowledgeable. He is a bilingual and caring doctor who took the time to address my concerns and needs. My previous dentist was not as skilled and informative. I am glad I have switched over to Dentist at Midtown and will be recommending my tia and abuelos over there too! Carolina provided the cleaning and she is the absolute best. Gentle, but thorough! I’m usually hesitant to go to the dentist, but the staff here made my experience wonderful, so now I’m a loyal and returning patient!
