I am a snowbird and am in Port Orange area 6 months per year. PO Family Dentistry has been wonderful in coordinating my care with my dentist in Michigan even though my Michigan dentist hasn’t been as forthcoming with dental records as this clinic. Dr. Powers is off-the-charts NICE and he explains the plan well. I really love this office! The only thing I can comment about is the lack of confidentiality when checking out. The desk is wide open to the waiting room as well as to the patient rooms. I’m not sure how that could be improved but it did bother me a smidge when I checked out and had to discuss the bill & payments.

Everyone was super friendly. My son had a cavity and I was having a hard time trying to get him scheduled back with my busy schedule and the dentist decided to do it right then instead of me coming back. It was so nice and helpful.

I called to find out if they were In-Network. The checked out everything and they were in fact In-Network. We discussed my situation and they said they could squeeze me in to check out a tooth that was problematic. They told me to come NOW and they would assess my situation. I came and they checked out my tooth. They put me at ease as far as the tooth problems and made an appointment to fix what I needed fixed. They are very helpful and really good people. I recommend them highly

Very helpful, compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding staff. Woke up with a horrible tooth ache, called them, and they were able to squeeze me in within 30 minutes. Listened to my concerns and took me right back, x-rayed my affected area, and the Dentist was there in minutes to explain the results.
Unfortunately due to the location and issues with the tooth, the dentist was unable to remove it for me, but the staff recommended several places and called several places to look for openings for me.

Everyone in the office is very pleasant and professional. Brenda cleans my teeth and while she does an excellent job is very gentle compared to some hygienist I’ve had. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than five minutes past my appointment time. The appearance of the office is very clean and neat.
