My first experience at Terrace Smiles Dentistry exceeded expectations. Gina was the first person I spoke to and she was extremely kind and helpful, and really set the tone for the visit. I've been a patient of Terrace Smiles for too many years to remember. The professionalism and friendly service given me has always been most appreciated. The staff is always cheerful and welcoming. The office has a bright and cheerful ambiance as well. I've continued my patronage with Terrace Smiles for years, especially because Dr. Witt has kept up with the latest and greatest technology and staffs his office with what I've seen to be the BEST. From Dr. DeWitt, to office manager Shirley, to every hygienist & staff member, this place is the best! Decades of anxiety & refusal to go to the dentist are over for me; I'm no longer anxious walking in for an appointment. Laser dentistry has eliminated so much of the discomfort & pain that kept me away; my teeth are now healthy & I'm happy! This clinic knows how to make dentistry easy for the cowardly (like me), almost painless & an actual enjoyable experience. Their rates are quite reasonable & they take my insurance from USF. Simply awesome all 'round!

SCAM ARTISTS. They used a fear mongering tactic to convince me my “teeth were falling out and I didn’t have much time.” Of course I freaked out and wanted to do what I had to do to take care of my teeth. Even the consultation seemed like an interrogation room, with one chair and one tv that played a video discussing the laser treatment that cost over 5k and was the only thing that would fix periodontal disease (which I didn’t have). Had to go to another dentist to fix what they had done. I should have known better but we are supposed to trust our dentists and doctors. They definitely take advantage of that trust. I’ve never had a bad experience like this. Looking back, it was more like a scare-tactic. They told me they accepted the type of insurance I had, but after the surgery they forgot to mention they have trouble with that particular insurance company and the insurance company wouldn’t cover the surgery because it was more for vanity reasons and I didn’t have periodontal disease. Go anywhere else. The guy on the corner of Nebraska and Fletcher would do you better, with a mean deep clean. Always get a second opinion.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Witt’s office for years and I can easily say this is the best dental office in all of Tampa. My hygienist Alexa was extremely professional and made the very visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely continue going back for years to come.
