Outstanding first visit. Felt comfortable. Rooms are all different and even decorated for holidays. Staff is nice and communicates everything with you. They gave me a plan sheet with pricing, everything broken down with details for my upcoming needed work. Best experience in years. Thank you

First experience with Dental Care Acworth and we were extremely impressed.
1. I had extreme tooth pain and they got me in to find a solution within 30 minutes of calling.
2. I sat in the waiting room for maybe 1 minute if not less
3. The techs and Dentist were all very kind and professional, but also very casual and great at explaining my options.
4. Everything was clean and organized, and they had Netflix on a tv so you could pick a show while you sat in the room.
5. Billing was really straight forward and cheap. (With insurance).
We will continue going here and I highly recommend from the experience I had!

I do not have an issue with the care received but did have an unfortunate experience with this office. I had scheduled my appointment a month in advance and they sent me text reminders to confirm. The text message threatened to charge me a fee if I did not confirm, so I did. The day that I had my appointment I had to request off of work early in order to make the appointment and received a text reminder for the appointment the day of. When I got to the appointment the receptionist stated that they had been trying to reach me because the dentist wanted to leave early that day and reschedule my appointment. She said that she would check with him to see if he still wanted to see me. After a few minutes she returned and stated that I would need to reschedule the appointment. I understand that emergencies happen but the way this was handled demonstrated a true lack of care for patients and that the dentist sees patient when he feels like it. My husband and I will not return because we cannot trust that appointments will be honored and do not feel valued.

I had the best experience with Dr Mitchell. I came in because I had a back molar that was causing me some discomfort. However Dr. Mitchell told me that it wasn't actually the back molar that was the culprit but instead the tooth directly in front of it. Turns out I needed a root canal which just the thought scared me. My reservations eased however once he thoroughly explained to me the procedure. During the procedure we ran into a few hiccups with getting me numb because he later found out that the nerve had shrunk a bit and that's what was causing the issue with the numbing medication. However each time I felt any discomfort at all Dr. Mitchell quickly stopped and made the necessary adjustments so that I would be comfortable. Thank you Dr. Mitchell for showing such care and concern. I have been in similar situations of pain during dental care and the provider just plowed through anyway but Dr. Mitchell went out of his way to ensure that I was comfortable. Thank you so much and I know I made the best decision by choosing Dental Care of Acworth!
