Went in for a routine checkup. Had a few cavities, no big deal. He filled them in 15 minutes--great! I thought. My filling cracked and started causing me intense pain. Went in to get it checked out and they started drilling the surface of my tooth thinking it was a bite misalignment without ever checking. Air was being blown on an exposed nerve and causing me immense amount of pain.
The dentist then proceeded to blow air on the same spot before diagnosing the problem. It was the most painful fifteen minutes of my life and I left shaking and crying. And guess what--my mouth still hurts, but I have no intention of going back there. I'm finding another dentist.
Update: Went to the urgent care center after my pain worsened. The dentist there was able to diagnose that I would need a root canal and cap. She did this by gently tapping the tooth and listening to my symptoms--no blowing air into the crack required. I'm meeting the Endodontist this week.

My teeth had not been cleaned or taken care of for a very long time. I went in and was very impressed with the staff. I'm very afraid of needles but they took very good care of me and my family. Everyone is professional but Brandy is my favorite. (Lol lol) Stop by its worth experience.

Disappointed
I came to this dentist on a referral. I had high hopes and even drove from Ellenwood, GA all the way to Mableton for service. The prices that I was quoted were too high. I tried to work out a service plan with the unprofessional young lady at the front however she seemed to be bothered by my questions, So I just left and got service from my old dentist which was cheaper, closer to my home, painless and employed staff that were willing to answer my questions without being bothered. A month later when I received a copy of my EOB in the mail, I notice that they charged me for a cleaning. This left me confused because they did not clean my teeth. Matter of fact I can't even get a regular cleaning I have to have scaling's done. I am still trying to get them to answer the phone so they can send a corrected claim to Anthem. I reported them to Anthem and told them that they billed for a service not performed.
I hope they answer the phone soon. If not I will be requesting that Anthem send them a 45 day notice of recoup - due to services not being performed.
