Doctor Blount was awesome. I really liked him. His employees however are not so good. I have been calling every day for a week and never getting a return phone calls. Calling even before that leaving messages every single time and it still never getting any return phone calls. My insurance denied my deep cleaning but it was because they said they did not have all of the medical records and everything all on the same thing that was sent in and I asked the employee that answered if she could send it again and she was very rude and ugly to me and it completely refused. I’m at the point of having pain due to needing a deep cleaning and this is of an urgent kind of matter because of this and she refuses to do her job. It’s really upsetting and the way she treated me it was very bad. I tried to explain what my insurance is wanting and she refused to send it the proper way. Looks like I will be finding another dentist. To me it looks like his employees don’t want to do their job. I will be giving a bad review on other social media platforms as well because I have never experienced anything so bad. Again, the Dentist himself is not bad but he probably has no idea about how his employees are doing.

OMG!! This place is awesome. The staff is amazing and Doctor Blount was really nice and my wisdom tooth extraction was fast and painless. In the beginning I was a nervous wreck but one of the staff members took her time to calm me down and explain the whole procedure to me. I can honestly say my overall experience here was a 10/10.

Had a tooth extraction, the guy who did my extraction wasn’t very welcoming. Didn’t wash his hands just changed gloves. Stuck the needle in mouth with no care. I got stuck over 10 times. I was in so much pain before the tooth extraction started and after I was stuck with the needles I still had to wait 30 plus minutes before he started. The numbing was wearing off. So I had to get stuck again. The assistant didn’t do a good job with the suction. I tasted the numbing medicine sliding down the back of my throat. Extracted more teeth than was said. Was yanking and pulling so hard my head was moving a lot. Oh I missed a part. After I was stuck with the needles, they had someone come in to try to schedule me for a deep cleaning appointment. Like it couldn’t wait until I was finished. Another thing. I got hand written instructions on dentures aftercare and not tooth extraction so I had to Google aftercare instructions. I can keep going but when I say this is by far the worst dentist I ever been to. I will not be ever going back or recommend anyone to go.

My initial visit was fine. I got a treatment plan and scheduled my appointment for a cleaning and extraction. On the day of my appointment I waited for over an hour to be seen, not only that my charges kept changing. My co pay was about 40 bucks less than what I had already paid. Instead of giving me a refund or crediting it to my next procedure. The receptionist took the treatment plan and refused to give it back saying that it was inaccurate information. She literally admitted that the information that they’re giving patients isn’t accurate. I wanted to support black business but DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I am not sure where to start with this place. For starters I try my best to support African American businesss’ any chance I get but however it’s businesses like this one that makes other black owned businesses look bad. Oftentimes when you call this Dentist office you will never get an answer. Not only that, you will never get a voicemail with detail information. Most professional business offices will give you detailed information on their voicemail. Not this place, they do not give you hours or days the office will be open or closed. Then when you leave a voicemail they do not return your call, well they didn’t return mines. It took me a whole month to finally get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Then the day of my appointment I was told I had a $65 co-pay. I wrote the check for $65 not thinking to check behind these people because they have been known to make mistakes. Believe it or not my copay was $0, I should have known myself but I got caught slipping. Long story short, I left a message a couple of days ago for someone to call me back.

They are so unprofessional they call me the first time saying that they don’t open the day of my appointment that u have to go another location then they call me and say that they are open if I want to keep my appointment I wait a week so 45 min before my appointment they call and tell me the doctor can’t see me

Horrible people there. I would give them zero stars if I could. My fiancé stopped there yesterday to make an appointment and they couldn’t even look up his insurance with the name of the insurance and social. They said come back tomorrow. He came back the next day (today) and they wouldn’t even answer the door. They didn’t give him a business card, and there is no telephone number on the door. I called their phone number from the insurance we use and had to leave an angry voicemail. Nobody will answer. Very very very unprofessional. Update: I wanted to add that they never returned the voicemail I left either.

This is by far the worst dentist office I have ever been to! I chose this dentist because it accepted my insurance. Before even getting to the my daughters visit the receptionist couldn’t get my information correct to save her life and she proceeded to ask the same questions that I had answered prior to my visit when I arrived. At the visit they were short staffed and I waited 45 mins before being seen. While waiting I was asked if my daughter was there for a cleaning and I told them no she’s here for a regular check-up which I told the receptionist multiple times. I was informed that she was put on their schedule for a cleaning and at that point I’m like ok that’s fine because it’s covered by my insurance. After agreeing to a cleaning it’s wasn’t until my daughter went to the back that they tell me the hygienist isn’t in today so we can’t clean her teeth. Now this is when I get irritated because I didn’t understand why a cleaning was being forced on me when she couldn’t even get it done that day. After all of that we had to be referred to another dentist where they would be able to sedate my daughter to get two teeth pulled and a cleaning. Since my daughter was unable to get a cleaning then my insurance should not have been charged, correct? Today I went to the referred dentist just to find out that my insurance was charged for a cleaning that was never done so I had to come out of pocket! I have tried calling the office and I have not gotten an answer! I am beyond livid at this point and I will not be ok until someone has the guts to talk to me about what I feel like is insurance fraud. After all this is straightened out I will never go back to this terrible dentist.
