Kauai Dental Care - Dr. Alan Ing & Dr. Yunsang Park

I had major issues with my teeth and procrastinated in doing anything about it for years, partly because of fear of costs but also because I've become very self conscious about it. Dr Ing and the staff at Kauai Dental Care listened to me and have been working hard to help me figure out a game plan that works with my insurance and gives me the best hope of proper treatment. They've also made me feel comfortable and not judged. I feel like they care, and this makes all the difference in the world to me. They really do have a great operation there.

I'm a new patient, the Office is a very nice atmosphere. The front desk agents were nice, also the nursing staffs were communicate with each other, which was nice to hear. The music in the office is cool! ❤ Dr. Park was very nice and gentle, also gave me great details on what I needed to do after my first initial exam. I will and have let people know about Kauai Dental Care.

Professional and warm staff. Always on-time and efficiently manages our visits. Clean and warm atmosphere. My dental hygienist Didi is a sweetheart - gentle and thorough - just like Dr. Ing! Can’t imagine going anywhere else! Highly recommended.

Wonderfully Professional office and human!

A few days ago one of my front upper veneers came off. My dentist had glued it back on only a month before. I had asked the office person at my dental office several times if they could participate in my secondary insurance but they basically told me it was too much work. This made anything other than a basic cleaning very expensive. I'm not big on change but I started looking for a dentist that participated with my insurance and also had great reviews. I called Kauai Dental Care and Shania answered the phone. She asked me a few questions and then asked if I could come in at 4pm. I was shocked! They have a well greased, professional dental office with a kind and very proficient staff. Dr. Park was fast, professional and did a great job. It's very obvious he knows what he is doing. Needless to say, I've finally found my dental office. Thank you Kauai Dental Care!

It was a small cavity but I am 73 and sensitive. Dr. Ing was an angel taking time repairing my tooth. He was gentle, fast and good at what he does. It seemed he was working on an art project in my mouth. He did take his time while I couldn't talk back to him. He has a sense of humor.

Great office, dentists and hygienists, but very strange/delayed billing. I'm a former patient and am not currently living on island. I'll preface this by saying KDC is probably the nicest and most modern practice on Kauai with absolutely fantastic hygienists, but I just received a bill more than two years after my last appointment. It was emailed to me 11/22 from a generic address and landed in a spam folder I rarely check. When I found the bill I called to see if it was real and I was told it was but was not given a clear explanation as to why it was more than two years delayed other than covid shut the office down in 2020. My last appointment was in summer 2020 so that doesn't make much sense to me and finding an overdue bill, sent more than two years after the appointment is very stress inducing. If you are new to this practice I would ask questions about your billing and your insurance coverage in advance so you aren't surprised later.

I had a two dental emergency in the past 3 months. Dr. Ing and his staff fit me in right away and I am so grateful. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and helpful. Kauai Dental has the cleanest most Covid safe office with outdoor check in and UV lights to terminate covid.

I have my teeth cleaned every 4 months by Nora who does a mermazing job while entertaining me with the best stories!

Dr Park and the staff at Kauai Dental are courteous and very professional. I've been made to f eel like part of the family. Although I'm quite nervous when I go in, Dr Park has a way of calming the situation. Thanks for doing your job; doing it well.

I had a dental appointment yesterday 02/21/2023 at 7:30am and it’s cleaning with the new hygienist it was good but she can do better. You can tell that she’s new because she’s not familiar with the equipments. She seems like scared with what she’s doing. “ Team work makes your dreams work “
