Oahu Pediatric Dentistry

It was my sons(age1) first visit, they were very friendly, and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. They talked to him, distracted him and even gave him a toy to help with the crying.

Dr. Takaki is great with the kids and the staff is very nice as well. Great office with free parking is a plus.

We HIGHLY recommend & ABSOLUTELY love Oahu Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Jason Ching is the son of Dr. Kin Ching, who was my dentist as a kid. He used to be located next to Leeward Bowl, with the castle and all the animals in the office. I used to love going there and my daughter, (who’s an adult now) was also a patient of the original Dr. Ching from when she was 6 months old until she was almost 21. Dr. Kin and his staff have definitely taken great care of our smiles and it shows. We are now so happy to have Dr. Jason and his staff here to continue caring for my 2 younger sons! They are still located in the Pearl City Shopping Center, but now by McDonalds and Bank of Hawaii. Dr. Jason and the entire staff are so very great with kids! They really go the extra mile for their little patients and it shows in everything! From how they approach and talk with the kids before hand, to the way they guide them through their exams. They specialize in children ONLY and safety is their number 1 priority! They always ask us parents if we have any concerns or questions and they always explain what the plan will be and what to expect. The office is super clean and appointments are always taken in on time. The seating area is spacious and comfortable the exam rooms are tailor made to keep kids distracted with cartoon wall murals and flat screen tv’s above their heads. My kids have always loved the little bags of oral care goodies and small prize toy they get to pick after their exams. They all love the dentist and actually look forward to their check ups! I know this is because of the experience they get when they come to Oahu Pediatric Dentistry! They have never had a reason to be anxious or afraid and they always enjoy their visits because they have always been treated with such AWESOME care here! Thanks Oahu Pediatric Dentistry! All of the staff were really great! Everyone was so nice to us and catered to our young children. We felt very welcomed and very satisfied with the services!

Staff is always pleasant and professional. Dr Ching is the best. Always takes time to answer any questions. My son is autistic so they always make him feel comfortable and take their time with him.

We only have great things to say about Oahu Pediatric Dentistry! My daughter used to be terrified of the dentist, and since brining her here… We’ve had nothing but great & easy experiences. Definitely recommend bringing your children here.

From the time we checked in till when we made our next 6 months check up appointment the staff was wonderful as usual. Just wanted to share some constructive feedback though. When we arrive on the entrance door there is a sign “Mask are Required”. Which definitely we respect and listened to what is required before entering the establishment. The Front Desk Staff took our temperature and sat us right across a family who was not wearing masks even more so the father coughed without covering his mouth at one point. Mother also making comments out loud about it’s been 2 years of the pandemic. Which I really felt uncomfortable and wanted to sit somewhere else. I know we can’t control peoples attitudes about how they feel about abiding about every business establishments rules. But if you could let them know out of courtesy to others as a “friendly reminder” to all patients when their in the place of business to be mindful of others.

Extremely friendly and professional staff! Dr Tataki goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and aware of what is going on at all times. Attention to detail to create a safe and clean atmosphere as well.
