Best, and most welcoming dentist's office I've been to! I started seeing Dr Deaver and his team in 2015. I brought British teeth and the typical apprehensions one might expect when visiting a dentist with such a genetic affliction :)

Yet, from my first visit, I've always left with a wide smile on my face. Dr Deaver is incredibly warm and patient, and brings a personal touch that demonstrates he genuinely knows and cares about each individual patient. Personally, I look forward to the British history trivia questions he serves up with my every visit. (A good barometer for the pressures of a different culture!)

The dental technicians and hygienists all reflect the warm culture that has been fostered in the small, but clean and relaxing office. Special shout out to Veronica and Erica on the front desk, whose smiles and witticisms shine alongside their professionalism to help make my day.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Deaver and his excellent team. If you would like to feel that your dental experience isn't one you face alone, these are they guys whom you'll be happy to have by your side.

I first tried this practice out 4 years ago. It was awesome, but I moved away. I’ve tried about 6 or 7 different dental practices in my life and this is a great one. So now that I moved back to Chicago, I obviously came back. Friendly and relatable staff. Skilled at injections without pain. Dr. Brian Smith possesses the skills, expertise and knowledge of an excellent dentist. Plus he’s ostensibly a cool guy.

Several coworkers suggested I try this dentist. Upon visiting the website, I was very impressed. After creating an account online, I requested an appointment via their online tool. I specifically asked to see Dr. Deaver, as he was the one my coworkers recommended I visit.

I received a confirmation email for my appointment. I received a second email asking me to fill out the "attached forms". There were no attached forms. I emailed back requesting the forms that should have been attached.

About three weeks later, it was time for my appointment and I still hadn't received the forms in a reply to the email. I decided to poke around on their website to see if I could find new patient forms to fill out. I found a link to fill out forms. It wanted me to log in, but would not accept my email as a username (despite being able to use the email to log into their main site earlier in the day!). Apparently, there are two different systems, and you need two accounts. So I created a new account and filled out the forms. The process was completely unintuitive.

I went to my appointment. The receptionist was incredibly rude. In addition, the office could not access my new patient forms online. The receptionist had me fill out another form and write my address down; he said he would access the rest of my information when he was able to access their online system again.

I went into my appointment (which was a twice yearly cleaning). The dentist walks in, and he is not the dentist that I requested to see. If Dr. Deaver was not accepting new patients or available for appointments on this day, I would have appreciated them telling me before they confirmed my requested appointment!!

The dentist begins my cleaning. After scraping my teeth with a pick and using pressurized water to clean off my teeth, he tells me I am all set. He did not polish them or even floss them! It was the worst cleaning I've ever had.

On my way out, I check with the receptionist and he tells me that I am all set -- that I do not owe anything at this time.

On my way home, I receive a phone call from the office. They leave a message that they are having issues billing my insurance without my address. I had just given the receptionist my address!!!

Overall, the office was extremely unprofessional: they were rude, incompetent, and completely unorganized. I highly discourage going here.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! Dr. Jursik was great and I couldn't say more about my Hygienist Dana. Very Professional. Will recommend any chance I can!

I have been coming here for years now. My appointments always are done within an hour. They are friendly, discuss things with you including any expectations for outside cost from insurance, and the quality of my teeth have been good. I have had no problems.

Dr. Deaver is a rockstar dentist. I had to call him early in the morning for a dental emergency and he was able to see me at 8:30am and advised me that I should immediately schedule an emergency root canal. I always feel that I am in trusted hands and his bedside manner and humor keep me in good spirits while receiving dental care. Dr. Deaver also personally called me to check in on how I was doing - super impressed!

We have been coming here since the days of Dr. Deaver. Even through changes, renovations, etc. they've kept their organization, friendly helpful staff and professionalism. I highly recommend them for preventative and acute care. We've been happy so far.
