Really recommend this place! Very clean and organized. Dr. Kim is so nice, explains very well, caring, always has a smile on, and constantly asks if you’re okay while cleaning. He’s very gently and still cleans everything, not causing any pain. Staff are all sweet and friendly. Best dental place I’ve been to! So glad I found a place I can go to for a long time. 😊

The first time I went was great. There after horrible customer service. Say they open at 10 I called and called and no answer left vm and no call back. I had to call the Plainfield location and they couldn't even get a hold of them at noon. Made appointment 1 month ago for my kids teeth cleaning and was supposed to go today and got a phone call from a rude receptionist stating the Dentist was not there and went on vacation for the entire week. I asked why did you schedule appointment knowing he would not be there. She then told me well you schedule it 6 months ago which I did not. I scheduled the appointment 4 weeks ago and this was the earliest they could get my kids in. She also stated that they called me on Friday and left a vm which they did not. Told me I can reschedule but wouldn't be until the end of September. I asked about a Saturday appt then she told me I couldn't get a Saturday appointment bc I had Medicade. I then laughed at her and asked if she was serious bc I don't even have Medicade (never did) I have a private insurance Delta Dental. She says well thats what we have in our system. Not sure if they even know what they are doing over there. I then told her forget about it I will find a new Dentist. Will probably be going to Plainfield location bc that is where I had to go when they didn't answer their phones back when my daughter had an emergency.

I had the best dentist 🦷 visit of my life today. I’ve been avoiding the dentist since my whole traumatic experience from a place that isn’t around anymore. So I thought I’d try a place a friend recommended. I was shaking I was so scared 😱, but the doc was super nice and the tech was awesome. We even watched the good fellas. He calmed me down and kept me distracted and talked the whole way through. I felt so safe. This is huge for me lol so in case anyone needs a dentist 🦷 go to SHINING SMILES JOLIET ❤️ he’s only there on Thursday’s ! Not to mention you can text the office instead of calling. How convenient❤️

Dr. Kim is wonderful. My husband had an appointment with him for the first time today. He said Dr. Kim has an awesome chair side manner. My husband said he had no pain at all why'll he was having the work done, and he was asked many times if he was doing ok, and having no pain. We will be definitely coming back. Great experience, and we will be recommending Dr. Kim to all of our friends, and family.

Front desk clerks are welcoming. Dr. Miller and her assistant is very patient and kind. Had to reschedule a couple time due to doctor being out of office. Clean office minimal wait time. Switched to Shining Smiles this past summer. Glad I made the choice!

Dr. Kim is the best! The girls are super nice and friendly! He explains step by step what he’s doing and always makes sure your doing okay . The most professional Dentist I’ve ever been too! I will definitely recommend your services to anyone! I have to say I can’t wait til my next appointment 😁👍🏼🦷
