Shining Smiles Dentistry - Joliet

First time coming here today. I had a great experience, Dr. Kim made me feel very comfortable, he made sure I was ok the entire time! I will be bringing my kids with Dr. Kim and recommending friends and family.

Had a wonderful experience front desk was very nice , knowledgeable and helpful . I walked in as a new patient and was taken care of after completing the paperwork required I was given options and got treatment right away .The dentist was very friendly took his time with my exam and made me feel welcome, I would definitely be coming back .

I chose this location because of all the great reviews although unfortunately my experience was not a pleasant one. The fillings I received are so sharp it is cutting my tongue and uneven and I understand sometimes that happens but unfortunately at the time couldn't feel my mouth due to the numbness and now I'm up late ,can't sleep because I'm in pain from the Jagged edges . During the fillings the dentists jacket sleeve kept going into my mouth which is not clean ,who knows how many others had that happen to on accident too ?! I also had to keep stopping and asking the assistant to use the suction I was choking! and I believe the dentist may have hit one of my teeth with a drill because I was about to choke when that was done I had to remind them to clean my teeth ,my experience was not a good one and the cleaning on my teeth was not as well done as it could have been because power tool they use kept dying out so it was not properly done it was very uncomfortable because the girl who did it kept rubbing the tool against my lip and tooth I've never experienced that before normally the hygienist will move the lip out of the way when they're cleaning the front teeth That fresh clean feeling that you normally get after leaving the dentist office was not what I experienced and now I have to have uneven jagged teeth which is hurting my jaw and cutting my tongue . All of the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed,but I'm not so sure about the experience of the female dentist I saw. LUCKILY FEW DAYS LATER I WAS able to have Dr Kim fix it he is AWESOME

I have no experience with the dentist(s) or other staff at this office. However, I have tried to schedule an appointment several times and have gotten no where! I have both called and driven to the office and every time I've either gotten no answer or they were closed. According to the web, they should have been open each time. I've heard and read great reviews, but what good are those when they are never open to schedule an appointment?

The location was very clean beautiful office. All tge young ladies was very helpful especially Ms. Evelyn. Great dentist office

Great customer service...loved the attentiveness. The Dr was very thorough, and told me what he noticed as to improving the care of my teeth. He thoroughly explained what he'd do the next visit. I Found a great dentist!!I

Mel took very well care of me she was funny, and helped me be more at ease while the doctor was checking my teeth, I really liked this dentist so we will be coming back

A family member referred me here and I came out of my first appointment very satisfied! Prices are reasonable and they are very professional with everything they do. Especially the girls working the front desk,they gave me many options for a treatment plan.

Great experience my first time omg never really realize how important it is to floss. The prices are very fair and they work with you omg!! I love this place!! If you don’t believe me come out and find out for yourself. They are very detailed and educated when it comes to your smile!!!

Beautiful office, reception area is always clean with yummy coffees and water, assistants are so helpful and friendly and of course Dr Kim is the best! Seriously love him! Highly recommend this place!
