My family has been seeing Dr Bean since we PCS'd here in 2001 when my daughter's were 2 and newborn. My daughters went to the dentist for the first time at his office and even when our insurance has changed we have paid out of pocket to continue seeing Dr Bean and his staff. It is nice knowing that you will see the same person every visit. They are part of our family, as they have watched our girls grow up along with us.

I've been a patient at Lake Point for 15+ years. I've always been greeted pleasantly by first name by pleasant, professional staff. My wait times can generally be measured in seconds, seldom more than five minutes. If I notice a rare problem and schedule an appointment, they get me into the doctor that day or the next. The dental assistant staff are thorough in their preliminary exams, cleanings, and anticipate the needs of the doctor during procedures with the right tool at the right time constantly aware of my breathing, level of comfort, and general disposition. Both doctors do a thorough exam beyond just looking for cavities. Dr. Greif [pronounced 'Grife'] rescued three of my molars that were failing due to my own lackluster attempt at dental hygiene. I was given non judgemental preventative instruction by the hygienist and the doctor. I can honestly say Dr. Greif's procedure is as close to painless as any dentist I've ever encountered. He uses a salve to numb the gum, makes a small injection to numb the area, and then carefully numbs the main nerve, explaining as he proceeds. He, and his assistant, constantly monitor for comfort, vibration is all I've felt from cavities to root canals. I'm fortunate to have insurance and the bill agrees with what the insurance says it should be and what is my portion to pay. I've had at home calls checking on my condition and a promise of an emergency appointment, on a holiday, if needed. Fortunately, the doctor and I were both able to enjoy our holiday. This dental group has given me good preventative care without need for crisis intervention, since they have gotten my dental care on a regular schedule with reminder post cards, emails, and personal phone calls. I've learned from them not to go to dentist just because something hurt, broke, swelled up, or fell out. I no longer use my teeth for a tool in the garage. And, most of all, I can still eat apples!
