I always hated going to the dentist and I neglected my teeth due to that. I have been going to Family Dental Center for 7 or 8 years now. I do not hate the dental visits any more. They are friendly and my visits are virtually pain free so I don't hate going. I would highly recommend anyone to go to The Family Dental Center.

This place was amazing. I went to coral west before this, that place tried charging me $500 then magically waved the fees on my third call. (I was in-network and was not given the chance to speak to the billing lady).
On the flip side, the Family Dental Center was so nice, everyone was wearing masks and the person who cleaned my teeth kept complementing them- I've never had that from a dentist before. I am always scared to go to the dentist- this place made me not scared to go anymore.
No extra charges for anything, they checked my teeth in less than an hour. Coral west takes 3 hours on your first visit for no reason at all.
When they floss your teeth usually the people are super aggressive with it, but the nice lady was kind and gentle. Overall I would definitely recommend. This is the best dentist in Iowa.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Gugliano. My cavities were filled without pain and I am thankful to have these issues taken care of in a timely manner. Dr. David and his assistant were positive and encouraging throughout.

I've been going to The Family Dental Center for nearly 10 years and I still like this office as much, if not more, than when I first started going! Great staff, kind, considerate and understanding. Our appointments are usually an hour or less. Now, my kiddos go to The Children's Dental Center across the way. We love them!

I have lived in the Iowa City area since the early 1980s. I had two great dentists that I liked a lot, but they retired. A friend of mine recommended The Family Dental Center, and I decided to choose a younger dentist so I wouldn't have to find another one a few years down the road. My dentist is great and so is my hygienist. I have gotten tips from both of them in terms of dental health, which has been very helpful. I haven't had a cavity since I took their advice!

The Family Dental Center is the best! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I absolutely love my hygienist Chrissa, she is the best and is always so friendly and has a smile on her face. When I first started going there I was not a fan of the dentist and terrified due to previous experiences in the past and was a total hot mess! Chrissa and Dr. David were so awesome and extremely patient with me and made sure I was always comfortable with everything I was having done. Dr. David is so laid back and does a great job of putting you at ease. We now even joke about how relaxed I am when I go in compared to my first visit.

I always know for my appointment that I get in on time & leave on time. My hygienist does a great job & I enjoy talking with her! My Dentist is superb at diagnosing any problems I might have. Great Dental Practice! Would recommend them to anyone!

These guys are the best! We have been patients here since arriving in Iowa City 31 years ago! They are very professional, up-to-date, clean, friendly, handle insurance paperwork, schedule appointments, give reminders before the appointments (we all need that!), and handle every age group. We've had our children there since they were old enough to get dental care, had fillings, crowns, root canals etc and it is always a pleasant experience! Seriously- I have never experienced any discomfort. My family has actually ENJOYED going to dental appointments. You don't hear that very often! They really are top notch! We highly recommend the team at Family Dental Center!!!

My family and I love the Family Dental Center! We have been going there since our move to the area in 2008. Staff has always been friendly and very accommodating. My son is on the spectrum and they do a GREAT job tailoring to what he needs to keep his teeth in tip top shape!
