The Family Dental Center seems to be very professional. We are new to IC and this office was recommended to us. My husband was pleased that he can have crowns fitted in the morning and then put on that afternoon without having to wait a week or so to be done with the process.

The staff is very professional and personable. They go above and beyond in patient care and I was especially impressed with how comfortable they made my son feel for his first appointment at age 2. Dr. Gugliano takes his time to make sure that my questions and concerns are addressed and always gives a detailed explanation about procedures and care. Absolutely phenomenal! It truly is FAMILY dental. I took my 1m and 14m old with me. They were great with my 14m old. She enjoyed it and was waving to all the staff. When I had my appt, a dental hygienist fed my 1m old. Another doctor came in and read books to my 14m old and even wiped her boogers. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

We have been with The Family Dental Center for over 2 decades. We started with Dr. Gilbaugh and were always pleased with our care. We continue to be cared for by his staff. We have seen all of the Dentists here at one time or another due to emergencies or conflicts of schedules and would be confident receiving care from any of them. Dr. Guglianno is our primary dentist now with Amy Johnson as our primary hygienist. Amazing care!
We feel very at home here and cared for as “friends” and clients. From initial greeting all the way through check out and billing, the staff is friendly, professional, and efficient.
The office is beautiful and most importantly clean.
The other area I really want to focus on is Orthodontic care. Dr. Dawn Stultz is an amazing artist, technician, and caring provider. My son has a beautiful smile. He enjoyed going to his appointments (who knew that could happen). He was educated and encouraged is his care and more than just survived braces.
He is now in the process of applying to dental school and wants to be an orthodontist.

First, I should make it known my prior dentist would go smoke a cigarette while the hygienist polished my teeth, so when he came back he stunk. The family dental center is the best! I was referred here by a coworker and absolutely love it here. The staff is super friendly! The rooms are always clean! I hate going to the dentist but this place makes it feel like you are at home. I referred my mother here as she needed a quick appointment before having surgery to remove lung cancer. It wasn't long after her surgery when flowers showed up at my parents house from the family dental center staff. They go the extra mile and it really shows. I have and will continue to highly recommend this office to everyone!

I have had horrible experiences at different dentist offices (one dentist couldn't believe that I didn't find my own teeth to be "disgusting" so he actually handed me a mirror and told me to look at them. And my teeth are healthy and mostly straight since I had braces as a kid). Eventually I just stopped going because I hated it so much. When I moved to Coralville, I took a chance on The Family Dental Center, and I'm so glad I did. Everyone here is simply wonderful. They are kind, considerate, and very good at what they do. They know how to help make anxious patients relax, and they are very patient. Dr. Gugliano is upbeat and always has funny stories to tell. He is also very talented (I got a filling done in under 30 minutes). I enjoyed coming here so much that at one point I was coming every 3 months for a cleaning (until my insurance stopped paying for that). Talk about a turn-around. To go from dreading the dentist so much that I just didn't even get a cleaning for years, to coming in for a cleaning every 3 months...that means this place is truly special.

A friend recommended The Family Dental Center and am I glad she did! Every single person I have met there has been kind and understanding and they put me at ease. Now I even look forward to going to the dentist and make sure I go regularly. Obviously I highly recommend this dental center.
