I was given a total of 3 different times to arrive for my appointment. It was at 1:30, they said to be there fifteen minutes early. The day before, they gave me a reminder call, and I asked if I was supposed to be there at 1 or 1:15 (I remembered I had to be there 15 minutes early, but I couldn't remember if my appointment was at 1:15 or 1:30), the girl said 1. I was there from 12:50- 1:20. No one was in the office. I left a note on the desk and left. They never called me. When I called to make sure they got my note, Karen informed me they had been in a staff meeting until 1:30, which is also when my appointment was, and if I had done my paperwork in advance (I had not, and it's not required that I do so), they wouldn't have needed me to be there fifteen minutes early, and that's why no one was up front. I told her that I would be looking for another dentist, preferably one who would keep their appointments, and she said "Good luck with that" in a sarcastic tone, and hung up on me. I will be finding another dentist.

I came to Gateway two years ago when Dr. Dahlberg retired. I have had expert dental care with Dr. McCaulley, and now I am getting an apnea device through the care of Dr. Burds. I've had hygiene visits with Krystal, and more recently received treatment from Martha when I needed a cap. Mallorie has assisted with the apnea device design, and she knew how to keep me from gagging. Yep, get an instrument in the right place in the back of the mouth and I will gag, but Mallorie knew how to prevent it. I've also interacted with Megan, Kristen, and Karen regarding appointments and insurance. Across the board, everyone I've met here is top notch, and I have been treated with expert care and respect. I have no doubt that the team members I have not met are every bit as good as the ones I have met. If you need a dental practice, come to Gateway! No, they are not paying me for this review.
