I have been seeing Dr. Dempsey and his wonderful staff for over 20 years along with my 3 sons.I have never met a more compassionate caring and gentle dentist.His staff is very courteous also, it is like a family atmosphere when there. Charlotte who works at the front for as long as I have been going there is very professional, courteous and an all around great person which reflects on the entire practice!

I asked them BEFORE any services occurred what my portion would be cause I didn’t want ANY surprises. They called my insurance and after calling insurance, told me how much I would owe. I paid that amount, after my service, that day. I have since moved out of state and called to get my X-rays sent to my new dentist and the RUDEST women I’ve EVER spoken to, named Charlotte told me NO. I have to pay over $400 or she WAS NOT sending them!!! So until I whip out over $400, this power-hungry Charlotte will be holding my records hostage…Lol.
So basically I was either lied to about what my payment was going to be from the beginning or they are charging $400 for records & X-rays now. I have a feeling it’s just the front office girl and not the dentist.
If you plan on going there I would certainly get it in writing what you’re going to owe, because even after that, they may want more.
UPDATE: I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 after further thought for 2 reasons. Number 1, the dentist Dr. Dempsey is and was always an amazing dentist! He is kind and should not receive a bad review just because some random front office girl has no respect, when dealing with his patients. 2. Dr. Dempsey himself sent me my X-rays, as soon as he figured out what was happening with this Charlotte person.
So, I DO absolutely recommend Dr. Dempsey & that is what actually matters…not one rude person who works at the front desk. Although, not having a rude staff member, certainly wouldn’t hurt.

I have never felt comfortable going to the dentist, actually I would always put it off until I HAD to. . but Dr. Dempsey changed that for me.. I dont mind it at all now..
