The best dentist office experience ever! The staff was so friendly. They took their time and distrust to rush through everything. The dentist, Dr Griffith, was very personable and friendly. He actually took some time to get to know me. I understand that the medical field is so busy these days, I worked in it for 20 years. However, it really doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes to make sure your patients are comfortable and feel like they are being listened to while looking you in the eye. I can’t say enough about how each of the staff went above and beyond in their own way for me. I will recommend this office to everyone! They also have probably the most modern, top of the line equipment which made my experience even better. Thanks again everyone at Derby Modern Dentistry!

From walking in until the time I left, everything was great! The front desk attendant knew exactly who I was and had my paperwork ready to go. Then once Dr. Griffith saw me, he was professional and friendly. Will be recommending him to everyone from here on out!

I had a very nice and pleasant experience today at Derby Modern Dentistry. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made me feel comfortable and very welcome. I have never been a fan of the dentist and I wasn’t looking forward to today, but Dental Assistant, Tim took away much of my stress and calmed my nerves as I was concerned about the procedure I was having done. He talked me through and informed me of the procedure (again) in detail and made me feel much more relaxed and calm as I needed to be. When Dr Griffith came in for the procedure, he was wonderful. He was so kind and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease as well. Before I knew it, he was finished! I recommend Derby Modern Dentistry to anyone who is feeling uneasy about the dentist. This is the place to go and I will be returning for all my mouth needs!! :) Dr. Griffith, Tim (and I would also like to mention, Office Manager, Kim) really made me valued as a patient and are ultimately concerned about one’s wellbeing. Everyone has been great! Dr Griffith was so patient and really paid attention to my concerns. I had an extraction and it was quick and painless 🙌The office staff have been really positive and helpful, too. They know the insurance ins and outs!

I do not often create a post. Rarely, even. That said, I feel compelled to say something about Derby Modern Denistry. A sixth star would have been chosen had it been available.

I broke a tooth. At my age, I know such things will amount to a root canal and a crown. I also know my out-of-pocket expenditure will likely be in the $800+ dollar range with at least two if not three visits. Not here.

First, I am a new patient. These folks don't know me from a hole in the wall and likely there are some similarities. Nonetheless, they had me in (on a Monday) within hours of my call. There was no fluff or sales gimmicks wherein a cleaning is done first ($$) and then the Dentist assesses the real reason for your visit. This staff went right to work on the problem. Within 15 minutes I had the option of a root canal and crown done in one day or splitting it up in two appointments. I chose option #1.

Dr Griffith explained each step of the procedure and gave me options. When I asked about cost, Kimberly, the Office Manager, came in and had a break down of what my insurance would pay and what my obligation would be. No secrets. No surprises. Just good long forgotten customer service. By the way, they had me completely finished up in less than four hours with no need for a follow-up visit.

In my estimation, then only thing worse than a visit to the Dentist is an afternoon shopping. But, I cannot say enough good about how I was treated and the care I received. Lest I forget - the amount paid was far less than I expected, too. Check them out. I know you'll be equally impressed.

I love this dentist office. Everyone was so nice. When I first went in I was skeptical, but, it wasn't long before I realized they were good caring people. The dentist is amazing. He is young, but, he is clean and thorough and knows how to do a good job. He is also nice and treats his patients with respect. They got me took care of the same day. He did a difficult root canal and two caps! My insurance took care of most of the cost and they are working with me with my out of pocket expenses. I couldn't be happier with a dentist!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am also on Medicare and it so hard to find good medical care of any kind on Medicare, at least that is my experience, but, going to this dental clinic was a good choice!
