They have consistently provided above and beyond. The staff is so kind and caring and understanding and patient. I have always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist and they have been patient with my endless questions and provided wonderful explanations!

Extraordinary care from the time I arrive each time to walking with me to waiting at the completion of my visit they extend a warm pleasant atmosphere. My care is at foremost on their mind and efforts. Thru the years they have become extended family type friends. They spend whatever time I need to explain procedures and are sensitive to my needs during the visit. And if extra care on procedures need a follow up post business hours they have called in the past to verify my condition. They are good encouragers to promote me to take additional preventive care steps without making me feel pressured. Genuinely caring about my well being.

Emily who does all my preliminary work before one of dentists follows up is simply top notch and I would highly recommend her and of course anyone of the dentists there too.

I just recently moved to Kansas and I started having tooth pain, I quickly jumped on a dental plan ( which is really good I must add) and immediately reached out to a dentist. I found New Horizon through my in-network plan and decided to give them a chance since they were only three minutes from my home. I went for my appointment and I was greeted with respect from the recipient, even having to do the Covid-19 check and getting my appointment ready, so I can be seen. I waited for about 10 minutes and then welcomed by Jessica (hygienist) who was going to take care of me until the doctor came in. She was super sweet and full of positivity. She explained every step that the doctor was going to have to do that day, and she even took the time to answer every question I had for her before the procedure began. I cannot remember the recipient's name but she came in to show me what I would have to pay and want my insurance would take care of. Due to me having to get two teeth removed and adding extra things such as a bone graft which she explained that most insurance companies don't pay for and that they had payment plans, care credit, or I can pay it in full. Then immediately after she left the doctor came in and formally introduce himself as Dr. Lugalia and wanted to know what was going on, and Jessica explained everything to him so I didn't have to repeat myself. the Dr and hygienist explained everything with me while I was in the room and I really felt included, which it should be that way since it is my mouth that they will be operating on. I was able to jump in and add anything into the conversation but Jessica was able to explain word by word how I felt and what I wanted to be done. Dr. Lugalia explained that we will be removing them today and if he was unable to he was going to send me home with some antibiotics to calm down the infection that could be going on in the one molar. Jessica walked me back to the room where I will be treated and explained that she was having another patient coming and wasn't able to keep me in that room or be there for it since it was going to cut in her schedule I was completely understanding of that since I wasn't expecting the work to get done today either. I was introduced by another assistant but unfortunately, I didn't catch her name either, But she informed me they were going to numb my teeth before I came back to get the work done and to try and eat something before I came back. Then she and Dr. Lugalia explained it may be a little difficult but give it a try so I wouldn't have the operation on an empty stomach. So I left for about 45 minutes and when I came back I saw another young lady that would be assisting Dr. Lugalia and she asked what type of music I wanted to listen to since this can be a bit of a pain and something to take my mind off of the procedure. Dr. Lugalia came in and did his step by step of the procedure. I was also introduced to his wife Dr. Rasynouvong. He was able to get one of the molars removed but the other one, I had to come back for. I made an appointment for four days out so we could get the infection under control. I came back and was greeted by Leanne who would be assisting Dr. Lugalia I put on some Fresh Price and let them go to work and from what I can see those two worked as a dream team let me tell you, they worked together step by step coaching, tool handling, sewing, etc. But I have never seen a strong team like that and these two pulled it off and made sure I was comfortable the whole entire time I was laying down enjoying my show. They were able to get the molar out, so I could be out of pain for the first time in a long time.

Emily made the visit be one of ease as she reviewed with me each procedure and discussed things that might make dental care more practical. :-)

Great place for dental care and preventative dental concerns.

15+ years of visiting New Horizon Dental.

The build of the dreaded dental trip always takes such a toll on one's mind.
But I can say the arrival at New Horizons Dental sure takes all those thoughts away. From the time I walked in the door to the laughter and calmness of the staff I would not choose a better place. Dr. Yona is both professional and personal and gives that feeling of caring about her patients. Nicci and all the techs made the process priceless. See you all soon.

It was a great appointment. I was anxious about pulling my tooth but Dr. Lesko talked me thru it & she was gentle & very professional. The assistant, Judea, made me feel so at ease & she seemed like a friend I'd known for years. They both really put me at ease. I will totally refer people to come to New Horizons.

I am one who has always hated going to the dentist. New Horizons has accepted the challenge to change that. They always seem to be very conscious of how you are feeling and thinking.

DeAnn Creech

As always, very friendly and thorough.

The staff was friendly. The front desk seemed nice. The clinic itself was clean and very professional looking. My problem with my visit (which was quite a while ago) was when I was in for a consult. They quoted my treatment plan for over $4K. I know my teeth aren't perfect but c'mon...
Of course, I was a little shocked considering I just came in for a suspected cavity and wanting to whiten my teeth. What was the worst part of my experience was when the women helping made the comment "Well I'm sure you could ask your parents for funds if you need to." EXCUSE ME? I haven't asked my folks for money for over several years now. I found that very rude and a bit judgmental on her part. I decided to go to a different dentist and get a 2nd opinion. So i went to a different, less money hungry dentist and he said I needed a couple things on the treatment plan given to me but definitely not over $4K of work done. I ended up spending $800 for the work I needed done. Overall...nice office, decent front desk staff...but money hungry.
