Dental Associates has history of over charging. I am a senior using the dental part of medicare for having my cleaning and x-rays. I presented my flex card. Dental/vision/hearing. "we don't use that" we'll file with insurance. I gave it 3 times same response. All covered by my insurance. I returned few days later for fillings. It was requested I pay before leaving. I was charged for the cleaning as previous balance. Enamel filling not used per the office staff were also charged. I questioned the office manager why I was paying for my cleaning? “your not” but figures say I am! My husband and I returned next day with questions. “You’re not charged for those items” Figures show I AM! I called insurance, report possible fraud. Insurance paid the bill as received. I received my insurance report and called insurance. Going over the bill together insurance reported I was over charged and paid for the cleaning. I was Over Charged. $336.00. Insurance instructed me call Medicare office report over charge and request check of billing. I return to Dental Associates 3rd time with insurance documents. Repeated what insurance and medicare stated. After few minutes staff refunded $336.00.
Read and double check your bill from Dental Associates before paying and after leaving the office.
Call your insurance with any questions. Do Not Trust Dental Associates Billing.

Love this office and its staff. My hygienist is the best - never hurts my sensitive gums, and listens to my teeth issues when I have them. I’ve seen several of the dentists and they are all great too. Hours are also great. Never had an issue with billing. My kids also go here and their hygienists are amazing .
Update - forgot to say that Dr. Carpenter is the best Dentist I’ve ever had. Very kind and actually listens to you!

While I have anxiety about visiting the dentist, Kelly always sets me at ease and does a great job educating me and encouraging me to maintain good dental health habits. She does her job well with extra gentleness and kindness to help me overcome my fears. Thank you for being the best!

Amazing dentist office. Every hygienist I’ve had has been so gentle that it’s almost relaxing. I nearly fell asleep during my last two cleanings. They always slow down and answer any questions that I have. Dr. Smith is the same way. He always takes the time to be very thorough.

Every time I go to the dentist I’m met with the nicest people. It’s not just one or two it’s everyone. Dr Clark is very kind and explains everything to the smallest detail. They are a great group

This place is unprofessional. Dr Sabina May was talking politics while my mouth was full. I complained to the manager and requested another dentist and was told “ we can’t insure that won’t happen again” then asked me “where they should send my records” Basically fired me after 6 years of being a loyal customer. Unbelievably unprofessional. Don’t ever go here.

Dr Carpenter was recommended by a friend and long time patient, the experience did not disappoint. I got in quickly, they fixed my issue with absolutely no pain (a true wonder for me).

Dr Smith saw me for a filling that needed replacement. Upon inspection, we found the wisdom tooth was actually broken too. He was able to extract it quickly with minimal pain. No medicine was needed for after care.

Dr. May and her associate did a great job with my tooth repair, and explaining possible future issues with my cracked tooth and addressing measures to take of if it should it continue to have issues. Thanks again for the great job Dr. May and all your staff.
