Dr. Jeremy W. Allen Family Dentistry

I used to like this place up until one of my fillings came out and I tried for 6 months to get it fixed. They called and told me my insurance didnt cover it. When they couldn't bill it to the insurance and then said I missed 2 appointments and that my dad was rude to them and closed my account. I'm almost 30 my dad doesnt call anywhere for me. Then I talked to another woman and she said i missed 6 appointments and that I had been rude. So I finally found a new dentist and I was informed that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the fillings that Jeremy Allen's office put in are going to have to be replaced and the tooth they wouldnt put the filling back in needs to be pulled and that another one they filled my need to be pulled but they wont know on that one until they get in and look. SO I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS DENTIST. Not only do they do bad work but the front woman is rude and a liar.

So, I created a Google account JUST to review this place. I wouldn't suggest going there, at all. Although I never got to meet the dentist, or any assistants, I did get to meet the employees at the front desk. In an office setting, the front desk tells me a lot about a company. I had an appointment scheduled for over a month. When I scheduled the appointment, the lady I spoke with told me not to worry about bringing my insurance card my first visit. So on the day of my visit, I tried calling from 12 till around 1:45. Let me remind you, I had to miss work (costing me over 100 dollars) and pay a babysitter (who I paid 30 dollars), because if you have ever taken a 2 year old to the dentist with you, you know it's frowned upon. So since I had no answer for almost 2 hours because they were on lunch, I decided to go inside and double check the insurance card thing. I went in 10 minutes before my appointment and the very rude younger girl working the desk informed me that they are closed for lunch, and will return at two, not friendly at all. So I told her that I just had a question because my appointment was at 2. Asked her if they needed my insurance card to make a copy since it was my first visit. And the lady behind her said I did have to have it. I told them that I didn't have it and they just didn't care. So.. not only did I waste my time, money for gas take off of work and everything in between, they were completely rude to me. I will not be back. I'm sure they won't read this. However, if they do I would suggest getting more friendly office staff. I have worked customer service most of my life, and I would NEVER be as rude as they were to me. And I guess I should also mention that they could have easily pulled my insurance up in their computer to tell it was active at that very second. (Just like every other doctor's office I go to) Once again, I'm not the one to write reviews. But thanks Dr. Jeremy Allen's office for completely wasting my time and money.

Dr Allen and his staff are an amazing crew! When I first started going to them, I was in horrible shape. And we’re slowly (by my choice) getting things lined out. They’ve never made me feel bad for the excessive work that was needed and I have not had any issues with any of the work they have done! Oh and I’d like to add that Maci does amazing work. I’ve got a temporary bridge that looks so good that I’m not sure that the permanent will look any better! You guys rock!

Let me just start off with the fact that I'm terrified of dentists. I was so nervous when I walked in the door that I was shaking and immediately the staff member that checked me in helped reassure me. After another amazing staff member did my x-rays, Dr. Allen came in and this guy was amazing. Totally put me at ease, explained the entire process in detail to me and patiently answered all of my questions. For the first time in my life, I'm actually excited to go back for my procedures.

Outstanding! Dr. Allen is super friendly, he doesnt make you feel uncomfortable or like he would rather be anywhere else. My first experience with the office was during my first pregnancy and everyone was extremely helpful, exceptional staff and service!!

I would rate a five but they are always canceling my appointment. Had a horrible experience with getting 3 fillings. His assistant Sarah had to keep redoing my fillings. Took 3 hours. .. Then I called back the next day letting them know I had residue from the fillings on my teeth. I talked to Tracy she said I didn't have it in there that she checked the other girls work. So 2 weeks later the fillings fell out. Had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. They made me an appointment for the next day after they fell out but then had to cancel again. Dr Allen is great but I guess I need to find. New place.

Always so nice. And do a good job at cleaning my teeth.

It’s very difficult to find a dentist in SE KY that truly cares about your oral health or the restoration and maintenance of your natural teeth. Not only does Dr. Allen care and do a wonderful job but his artists- Maci and the girls- are absolutely fantastic. And the receptionist, she’s just as outstanding and can multi-task like no other!!
I would recommend this office to anyone!!

There is no better dentist than Jeremy Allen. I always recommend him to people.

I have been seeing dr Allen for years. He’s very considerate and gentle. and try’s his best to come up with affordable ways to deal with your issues! I will definitely be back at his office!
