I came to Dr. Ward and the practice after not having been to a dentist in roughly 4 years.

Dr. Ward and the staff here are friendly, efficient, and professional. They do an excellent job of explaining processes and making you feel comfortable. They really listen to your concerns and take steps to make you feel "ready".

The front desk staff makes billing and payments easy, and they're always willing to answer questions or help work through the cost of services.

If you need regular check up and cleaning this place is fine. Would not advise using them for anything else like crown etc. Had a crown put in by them, barely lasted a year and it broke off. I had moved to another state and the dentist confirmed the crown was not seated properly and it wore a hole in the top. I was told the only option I have is to come in. they would not speak to my current dentist or look at pictures. This would require 2 trips with 7+ hrs of driving for them to redo the work. The crown they offer is also of cheap quality and wont last long. I am out $1000 due to poor workmanship and no ownership to stand behind their work. Do not trust these folks or PR response they might post below. Not to mention the snippy-ness of the lady that answered the phone which admittedly cause me to loose my cool.

Zero privacy, a big complaint! I didn’t get the completed work promised on time despite many calls to them. A $2,000 vacation got cut short by 4 days because of an unfinished product (after 6 weeks of waiting and being prompt with all appointments requested) and because I couldn’t eat even the softest of foods after spending $2,000 (in cash) on this dental work. They gave me an unfinished product with no remorse, and said I would come back for more, that’s not happening. I’m sure they are happy, they soaked me for a lot of money!

Do not recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would. Made appointments for my children. Cleanings went great. Then we get to treatment and they refer us to a different dentist. “But your a family office?” (They don’t do pediatric dentistry I guess.) Schedule an appointment for 9 yo son to have a few teeth pulled and an intake for husband. Get confirmation call for son and ask to confirm for my husband as well. They apparently cancelled his appointment because they didn’t have insurance information… the exact same information they had for my children also applied to my husband but okay. Her response? “So, you’re the subscriber for HIS insurance?” Excuse me?! Yes, yes I am and I’m not sure why that’s shocking or surprising to them! Very unprofessional office.

Best dentist ever! Everything is clean and neat. They have TVs in the rooms for you to watch while you’re getting your teeth cleaned. We are always greeted when we walk in and feel so welcome. The girls in the back are so nice and Connie is especially great! Dr Ward is so fantastic with my daughter.

I had a crown procedure scheduled. I always call to get the price prior to the procedure. I was told one thing. When I showed up for the procedure everything went great until I went to pay. The price some how increased by $500 and they failed to notify me until the work was already done. Only option given was to split it into 2 payments. I believe this is something that should be told to patients prior to a service being performed. I would have looked at other places or changed a few things had I know.

Do not take kids here, the new dentist does not do well with them at all. It’s a shame because Dr Ward was always good.

Edit: make that two visits in a row. If the Dentist is not comfortable working with kids do not schedule a second appointment and lecture the parent about how her parents are pediatric (whatever), that is irrelevant. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL on that Dentist part. Safety is first, so do not have a dentist attempt something if they cannot provide a proper service. We have been taking our kids there for years and have always had great success but not with this new dentist.

Had two attempts to get an old filling replaced. Was referred to Scott Endodontics who did a great job doing my root canal which was needed to stop pain. I quickly setup a follow up appointment w Middletown Commons to get my crown done. Upon arrival they took an xray and checked the tooth and told me they were short staffed and could not do my crown. Now the procedure wont happen for another two weeks. Not impressed.
They could have let me know at the time I made the appointment or earlier today so I did not have to rearrange my schedule to fit in this visit.

I've been seeing Dr. Ward for the past two years, and I can't express how much they've helped my sister and I!
I was terrified of going to the dentist and hadn't been since I was a child; I was recommended Dr. Ward and decided to give it a try based on the glowing reviews, and I can't express how grateful I am that I did!
The first cleaning session was challenging because my teeth were not used to the sensation, but they were so attentive that they even gave me an X-ray pad to use as a weighted blanket to help with my anxiety! In the two years I’ve been with them, I haven’t met a person who wasn’t incredibly lovely and excellent at their job! I now go for cleanings every six months and no longer require the "weighted blanket" they are so nonjudgmental and friendly that I always feel at ease when I come here. I will continue to go here as long as they are here and would recommend them again and again!! They saved my teeth, and I'm grateful to the entire team!

Dr. Ward and her entire staff are amazing. I have always had anxiety about dental appts and dental work, they never once made me feel judged and were all so kind and caring. I would recommend them to anyone, best dentist I've ever had!
