It would be difficult to overstate the quality of service and the pleasantry of the customer experience at Dr. Rathke's office:
When you first enter you are blown away by the beauty of the office itself--the open floor plan and the physical beauty of the office. All the staff are friendly and courteous and appear to enjoy their jobs. There are plenty of smiles and a welcoming environment. Dr. Rathke works diligently and meticulously to do a great job on your procedure whatever it may be. I cannot recommend it any more highly!!! If you live in the Quarter as I do it's a 5 minute or so drive and there's free parking!!

Out of town visitors for Mardi Gras. Super Bowl Sunday a bridge falls out. Called Monday morning and was seen by Dr Monday afternoon. Clean, modern, friendly, treated like a long time customer. Dr saved the day and vacation. If we lived here he would be our regular dentist. And did I forget to say, reasonably priced. Thanks Doc and to all the staff at Downtown Dental.

Only dentist I trust in the city. 10/10 would recommend. Dr Richard is a trust worthy dentist. He has a gentile touch. He is honest and well educated. He has your health in mind. This location has up to date medical equipment and it is a clean environment. Very personable and kind staff. He fixed a crown for me. The one he put on has been great! No issues a year later. Excellent care. In town for conference at downtown hotel when a crown popped off. They got me in the next day, was in, repaired and out in 30 minutes. Dr and staff were very friendly. Office is in a very cool setting. I'd go back in a heartbeat and recommend him without question.

I came to New Orleans to visit during Jazz fest and the Saturday I left I was having severe tooth pain on a tooth I had a root canal on. I decided to go to a dentist during my visit and found Downtown Dental online. The other reviews are spot on. I called Monday when they opened at 8 and they got me in for 9 am that day. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Dr. Rathke informed me of my options but did not put pressure on me to have anything done down here. The desk staff was even super helpful and emailed my dentist the x ray they had taken so i wouldn't have to have another. Highly recommend.

My experience at Downtown Dental exceeded my expectations. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, pleasant and professional. Natalie (front office) was exceptionally warm and friendly. Anne (dental hygienist) provided excellent care X-raying & cleaning my teeth. She’s truly great at her job. The service I received from everyone was exceptional. I also appreciate the open, welcoming atmosphere. I will continue to use Downtown Dental for my oral health.

The staff and doctor at Downtown Dental were very courteous. I called early one morning with a severe toothache and I was scheduled for an appointment early in the afternoon on the same day. The staff was able to get the xrays performed even though I have extreme difficulty with bite wings and similar devices. I very much appreciated their cordial and supportive assistance to get through the ordeal of a seriously decayed tooth.

The experience was excellent! I was in friendly, capable hands in a comfortable environment, the price was very fair and the result was top-notch! Problem resolved! I was travelling for business and happened upon a pearl in an oyster. I ended up cracking my tooth nearly in half. After calling around to several offices, Downtown Dental was able to get me in immediately. Dr Rathke quickly evaluated my tooth and got me a repair to get me through the week with minimal discomfort. Upon arriving at home, my own dentist commented favorably on the repair job. Excellent experience.
