My Hagerstown Dentist & Dentures

Selecting a Dentist can be stressful with so many to choose from in the Frederick area. For me the process was not about just selecting a Dentist but selecting his entire staff from the front desk to the Dental assistants. Acadia Dental in Frederick has the best staff I've ever encountered in the area. It's not that they're any better at their jobs but its about how they make you feel as their patient. Five days ago I went through major Dental surgery and although I was extremely nervous, the care I received was top notch. 24 hours after surgery I was no longer in any pain and just had some minor swelling/bruising. To me that speaks to the skill of Dr. Baqai and his assistants. No one wants to go to the Dentist but if you're going to go why not go to an office where you're made to feel important and cared about. Easy answer for me!!

BEFORE coming here,I had gone to a one day dental place for my extractions and dentures two years ago. I had given up on ever looking like the old me again, and I would be miserable with my dentures forever. I decided for one final effort, to try Acadia in Hagerstown. Walking in the staff was very pleasant and made me very comfortable. It was a painless process and 2 visits, I LOOK LIKE ME AGAIN!! My old teeth were sooo big compared to my new ones. WIsh I could post a picture! They fit great and I no longer need adhesive to keep them in, which is HUGE for me. This was such a wonderful experience for me that my husband decided to go and get his teeth done too. He has had horrible experiences in the past and is very leary of dentists. After his extractions and new smile, he returned to work the NEXT DAY. His face unbruised, no swelling... couldn't even tell he had it done. He has NOTHING but AWESOME things to say about DR Baqai. I soo wish I would have gone here 2 years ago instead of the road I choose. My husband is already eating almost everything, and its only been one month and he looks and feels wonderful!

I had 9 lower teeth removed and was supposed to get immediate dentures. The dentist said they were not made right and I had to go through the entire process again. The next lower denture did not fit well and a 3rd set was made. The dentist did try to give me a set I could eat with. When the last set was made I was told that I would have to use adhesives for the dentures to stay in place when I ate, this did not happen. The dentist suggested two dental implants with a new set of dentures at a cost of $8438 . I advised I could not afford this and they took $ 1000 off , now the price was $ 7438. I cannot afford this, so now I have a set of lower dentures , that even with adhesives, come lose at my first bite of scrambled eggs. I have O confidence in their dental lab. Although the staff is friendly and the dentist did try his best to give me a set I can use, it was all futile. I do not wear the dentures as I have to take them out every time I eat, so they sit in a container, useless to me. I would not recommend you visit if you are in need of dentures, their lab is terrible. Again, staff did their best but the lab failed.

Dr. Baqai and his Team are the absolute best! I am extremely happy with my experience! Dr. Baqai is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. You are not leaving there until everything is perfect! The office is Modern and the music is soothing. The staff are very experienced, caring and attentive to your needs. The office goes out of their way to work with you about scheduling. I love my smile again!

They are the best. I am terrified of dentist never had a good experience. The doctor and staff at Acadia are companionate and caring. I have issues with getting numb and they helped me to over come this problem.. will shout from the rooftops they are the best . Thanks so much for all your hard work and making me comfortable through this process

Hands down the most professional, compassionate, understanding, and experienced Dentist and staff I have ever had the privilege of going to. I have had dental issues since I was an infant. A year ago I had 11 extractions in one day at another dentists office and had a horrible experience. A month ago I found and started working with Acadia Dental in Hagerstown. The entire staff and Dr. Baqai were simply more than I could have hoped for. They calmed my fears of completing the process of extractions and getting my new teeth. I cannot express the level of gratitude I have for them going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Not too mention my wonderful new teeth! A day after surgery and I feel great. Thank you!

I wanted to Thank all at Acadia for their compassion and kindness. Tina , Taj, Dr B and everyone who has made this experience as calm and as painfree as possible. They understand the fear that can be associated with dental visits. I am terrified of dentist but the staff here has changed my view for the better. I will return to them for any of my dental issues in the future, and would recommend anyone with the same fears to give the staff here a chance to change your fears to trust, Thank you for everything you have done to change my fears to trust. I can't say Thank you enough.I would also like to thank Debbie for always fitting me in for a adjustment and for the great experience and for the laughs. Due to the condition of my teeth, I decided to check into dentures. I had consulted two other dentists before my trip to Acadia - from the first time meeting Dr. Baqai, the decision was simple. He and his staff were attentive while I explained my dental history and the decision to obtain dentures. Dr. Baqai spoke briefly to me about alternatives but, quite honesly I had spent so much time at dentists throughout my life that I really wanted an end to all of the repairs that were only going to continue. He was accepting of my decision and I sheduled an appointment for the extractions. I was naturally apprehensive but, the staff and Dr. Baqai put me at total ease - from the time I sat in the chair, had the extractions, and the temporary plate in place, 45 minutes has passed. I couldn't believe how quick and painless this all took place ! Anytime I called needing adjustments or with questions everyone I dealt with at Acadia went out of their way to be helpful - always being kind. There was never any dread walking into the facility - they make you feel so comfortable - I felt as though I had a new group of friends. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Baqai to any and all.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was so nice and they did an awsome job of making me feel comfortable and ease my anxiety. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Dr. Bahai and his team are absolutely amazing!!! Not only are they highly professional but, they are very compassionate and treat you like family. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.
