I walked in to Clear right Cosmetic Dentistry with a serious pain in my back teeth, my problem was quickly taken care of. The receptionist helped me understand what my insurance would cover and they put my mind at ease on a financial sense and with my pain. I appreciate all the good work these ladies did to help me. That is the most comfortable I've ever been in a Dentist chair and for that I thank you ladies at ClearBright Cosmetic Dentistry.

My appointment was for a cleaning. They didn't gave me a cleaning and also I had to pay for X-Ray before they let me know that I will not get my cleaning and also had to pay for something I didn't request it. Be aware of this office. Not recommended and steal my money.
So here is my question: Why did you gave me an appointment for cleaning?

If you already know that I will not receive my cleaning please do not waste my time and money.

Let me first start off by saying I was able to get an appointment the same day which we all know during COVID it is impossible to get that. Dr. Tshikaya and Star were absolutely amazing!!! Star was very comforting during an uncomfortable procedure and that made me feel like they truly care about their patients. The entire office was friendly from the time I called to come in till the time I left. I will definitely be taking that drive just to come get great work done and excellent customer service. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist!

I was a bit nervous initially going to the dentist after a 2 year absence but all that nervousness washed away when I got there. The friendly bright atmosphere and smiling staff made me feel at ease. Dr. Tshikaya couldn’t have been any nicer and professional. They took care of me in a timely manner even though I had a late appointment due to work. Never felt rushed. I loved the text reminders about my appointment. Helped me not forget it. Didn’t have any issues with my insurance. Walking out I couldn’t help but think to myself, “I think I’ve found my new dentist for me and my future family.” I highly recommend Clearbright if you’re looking for new dentist

Dr. Tshikaya is young, vibrant, and very knowledgeable. She approaches treatments in a cautious manner, but I appreciate that considering my age. The staff is exceptionally friendly and I have been happy with the service and my dental health since Dr. Tshikaya opened this practice.

Great attention to Covid-19 procedures, as well. That's very important to me, since I primarily cloister at home other than necessary events.

Clear Bright said I had two cavities which they were going to charge me $1,900 total. The person I talked to was also rude and very apathetic in her tone.
I went to EZ Dental in Rockville, and they said I had only 1 cavity. Their total was just $1,400 to remove it and give me a fake tooth. The entire staff team is very friendly and compassionate, and I feel comfortable returning to EZ Dental in the future.

Both Clear Bright and EZ Dental accept Medicaid for basic cleanings but obviously one company is much better run than the other.

Today I came in for my appointment and the receptionist Ricky went over a totally different copayment amount than what was discussed last week. I reminded her of what we discussed and she completely denied the conversation. She went on to explain amounts for my fill in that my insurance did not cover (that was never mentioned last week) and when I informed her she didn't make me aware of that and that I would need to reschedule she giggled and walked to another office came back giggling again. I asked her what was funny and she ignored me. I did not feel comfortable at that point to speak with her so I let the dentist know of the immaturity Ricky presented. Ricky began talking over me as I spoke to the dentist so I decided to leave and I let her know again that the behavior was immature and unprofessional. I told them I decided I will go some where else. The dentist shouted at me as I walked out "she tried to explain to you so oh well!"

I came here for routine cleaning in October 2020. I had not seen a dentist in almost a year due to COVID. I was new to the area, and I decided to see Dr. Tshikaya for my cleaning. The hygienist did my cleaning, and Dr. Tshikaya came in after for my exam. She informed me that I needed 3 fillings... I would have let her do them at that time, but I had another appointment. As I was checking out, I could hear Dr. Tshikaya YELLING at the dental hygienist about my exam, and how I had “all those cavities”. -This made me uncomfortable. I ended up seeing a different dentist about a month later, who could do my Invisalign and general dentistry. I received a second opinion on the 3 fillings that Dr. Tshikaya recommended. They were able to get my X-rays from Dr. Tshikaya’s office, and do another exam. To my SURPRISE, she did not see any cavities, and I was told I did NOT need any fillings! 😲 Dr. Tshikaya’s clinical practices are questionable and unethical. After my experience, I am now of the belief that she attempted to defraud my insurance my performing and unnecessary procedure on me! BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT PRACTICE!!!
