I’ve had a great experience with this place. We are new to the area and needed a dentist for the whole family that accept tricare. This place came highly recommended by the military community around here. So I got myself and my two kids scheduled. I was so happy that they were able to squeeze us in over the next couple weeks. My daughter and I were even able to get our appointments back to back!
The last time my daughter (she’s almost three years old) had a dental appointment, she wasn’t scared. But she did refuse to open her mouth. For this appointment, I tried to talk her her beforehand about what she’d have to do. I think it helped that my appointment was first, so she could see what would happen and how easy it was. It was also great that they turned on an educational YouTube show for her. She was happy to sit and watch, occasionally glancing over at me or holding my hand.
For her appointment they kept her so entertained! She was happy to wear the glasses they gave her and hold on to the toothbrush she got to take home. They were able to do a full blown cleaning with the adult tools because she sat still and kept her mouth open.
I returned a week later for my five year old son. We had no problem getting an appointment later in the day because of him being in school. They did a few X-rays just to get a look (his mouth is still a little small to get those bite wings in there). His cleaning was fast and smooth!
Everyone was friendly and this is definitely where we’ll return!

I have been in a lot of dental offices but I think I found the best service with doctor Ermias Semaie he gave me the best dental experience. He never made me go through unnecessary procedures which saved me a lot of time and money. He were courteous and professional. Wish him and his office all the best.

I had the best experience with Brittany at my first visit to Stellar Dental located in Silver Spring. Brittany showed me every X-ray and picture of my teeth to make sure I was aware of everything they were seeing, which was so helpful and appreciated. Brittany and Amalia were so friendly, informative and FUN. My teeth look so much better after this one cleaning! Wow. It feels so good.
At 43 years old, I have my first cavity and one filling to get, they showed me the prices and are able to fit me in next couple of weeks. I really appreciate knowing exactly what I’m going to expect procedure/price wise. I was truly blown away by Stellar Dental.
I cannot put into words how great my experience with Dr. Allen Gotora, he was exceptional. He has a Stellar practice indeed.
