While visiting a friend in Boston, I was horrified when one of my crowns popped off. Fearful that the tooth would continue to decay before I returned home to California in two weeks, I desperately sought help. My friend highly recommended her own dentist at, “Smiles of Salem” and fortunately they were able to fit me in the following day.
It was my great good fortune to encounter Dr. Shevchenko and her caring staff, especially cheerful receptionist Wendy. My emergency trip to “Smiles of Salem” told me that this dentist’s office was both highly professional and extraordinarily friendly. Despite my anxiety, everybody there was kind, helpful, and skilled at what they do. Dr. Shevchenko made several helpful suggestions concerning my tooth, cleaned it, repaired the filling, and replaced the crown. She even made time to come out to the reception area and make sure I was doing O.K. Several weeks later, the crown feels better than it did before, and I am very satisfied that this was a quality dental experience.
I only wish that I lived in Boston, so I could continue to know these lovely people, and adopt “Smiles of Salem” as my regular dentist’s office.

Today, I went to get a cleaning and the hygienist was so attentive and accommodating to my sensitivities!
