Gentle Dentistry- Shakopee Office

This was my first time at this dental office. The receptionist, Connie, was really friendly and informative! A special thank you to Sarah the hygienist for doing her job really gently and well. After checking my teeth, Dr. Brian Christenson gave useful recommendations regarding my care. I appreciate this team & highly recommend this dental office!

My family has come here for years with great service until today. The receptionist and hygienist are still great. I set an appointment up six months ago for a teeth cleaning only to arrive at my appointment today and it was canceled. I confirmed my appointment via text two weeks ago. If i was going to cancel my appointment, i would call and cancel it. I will look for a dentist office that can keep its appointments. It's disappointing that i take time off work for an appointment, only to find out it was given away to someone else.

I absolutely love Gentle Dentistry! I have been going here for many years and they are always so kind and do such a great job. Connie is the sweetest person, and I always look forward to coming in!

Gentle dentistry at Shakopee Office is not a practice I would recommend to anybody. I went to the dentist for a dental filling (1 surface). They repaired it; but, they loosened and destroyed the filling on the neighboring tooth. When I realized after 2-4 day and protested, they stated they would fix it for free and gave me appointment after 2 weeks, but they added a high cost to my insurance despite the fact that it was their fault. My insurance company denied the claim. They have now turned the bill over to a collection agency. Please be mindful. They solve one issue but create another, so the patient can frequently visit. If you want to save money, I propose not going or confirming that they will not damage other teeth.

I absolutely LOVE Gentel Dentistry - Shakopee. The entire staff at this location is super friendly and kind. Connie at the front desk is the best. She's always there to handle any of your needs or questions. Highly recommend!

It was exactly as advertised....GENTLE with caring, compassionate staff from the moment I contacted them. Connie, Audrey and Dr. Christenson were all professional and efficient. They patiently answered my questions and calmed my fears. I never felt a moment of pain.

As soon as you walk through the door, you’re greeted by one of the kindest human beings alive - Colleen! She has the sweetest voice and demeanor and has the patience of a saint!
The entire team at the office is also incredible. Dr. Christianson is a young yet professionally mature, innovative, and progressive dentist who seeks the most up-to-date procedures and processes and has always been so incredibly attentive to our needs. My kids definitely connect with him and it makes a not so fun experience seeing the dentist, a more pleasurable and fun one for them! The team here at Shakopee Gentle Dentistry feels like an extended family with their small-town feel and deep appreciation and compassion for the families they treat.

Very nice people! Gentle, like it says in its name. The dentist is very knowledgeable and confident. They even let me listen to my favorite music!

Dr. Christiansen was absolutely incredible. I told him about some of my past experiences and he extracted my wisdom tooth with the least amount of pain I’ve ever experienced at a dental office. He took the time, the necessary time to be able to give me the proper numbing medication. That part is always painful. I’m 35 years old. I’ve seen so many dentists. Dr. Christianson is right there up at the top. Best of the best. He pulled my mangled wisdom tooth out, it might’ve taken a little bit of time, but he did it amazingly. If you have to see a dentist for any reason you go see this man! Cheers, Dr. Christianson. You are phenomenal.
