River City Dental came highly recommended by many people. Unfortunately this was not the experience we had. This is the first google review I have written. I am not one to complain, but I was honestly surprised at the experience.

This was sons first dentist appointment. He is 7. Yes he is a bit old for it to be his first appointment, but life happens. It started out ok, the hygienist came out to get Oliver and bring him back. She said it would be best if I didn’t come back. Ok fine. We can try this. My son went with, cautiously, but he went.

A while latter she came back to get me and brought me back to where Oliver was, Oliver was obviously upset. And she said...well we are not cleaning his teeth today. We are done for today, He refuses to work with me and refuses to let me do anything, the dentist still needs to come in so he will be right in. I had my son apologize to the hygienist for not cooperating. But I do not understand why they did not come get me to help if they were having trouble with him. He is my son, I could help calm him down. I don’t know if this is policy or something, but, of course he was nervous, it was his first time at the dentist.

Then the dentist came in. I was struggling to get Oliver to sit back in the chair to let the dentist look in his mouth. After about 2 minutes in the room with us, he said to my SEVEN YEAR OLD...”Dude I have got 4 other people waiting here, you need to move it along.” Really? I don’t think my seven year old cares how many people are waiting, you are billing our insurance, I am paying my copay. We are paying you to be here. If you have to take 5 extra minutes with my kid to help him calm down, I don’t think that is out of line. We will not be going back. I had scheduled an appointment for myself, I will be canceling and looking elsewhere. I was so disappointed, the way he treated me and my child was not ok. I would encourage anyone to look elsewhere is you are looking for a dentist.

If I could give them 100 stars I would!! The staff and Dr Imdieke are very friendly and caring. I have been to numerous dentists over the years and never felt comfortable at those ones. This place is top notch and they explain what’s happening the whole way through.

I wish I could give a negative star.

My 73 year old mom told me that she needed to sell or pawn her jewelry (that included her mom's and grandma's) because Imdieke told her she needed five crowns and had numerous cavities that needed filling.

I told my mom to try my dentist (Riverside Dental in Sartell) and not to mention what Imdieke told her.

One crown that needs replacing and one small cavity.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau already who encouraged me to reach out local government officials.

What a shame.. My mom has Alzheimer's and had she not cried to me about having to sell her jewelry she would have done so and 150 years of family history gone because of a greedy a$$hole.

Best. Dentist. Ever! I had a toothache and not only did they fit me in on short notice but the did a root canal the same day. You hear the words “root canal” and your blood pressure immediately sky rockets but this was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had, I didn’t feel a thing and the toothache is gone. He explained the procedure as he was going and was gentle and kind through all of it. Thank you Dr. McBroom! Awesome dentist!!

River City Dental is a great dental office! Very knowledgeable!

I have never been treated better, they took extra time with me answering all of my questions, thoroughly explained what was going to happen and even took extra time with my routine teeth cleaning to make sure that my teeth are wedding ready! I highly recommended these guys both dentists are amazing to work with and so are all of their staff!!

I’ve been going to River City Dental since I moved to St Cloud from Denver, Colorado in 1983. I raised three sons as well and they grew up with their six-month dental check ups at RCD.
I now reside in Minneapolis having just retired from St Cloud State University, and I still go there because they are absolutely the best! I trust them 100% as they are efficient, honest experts who always have the best interest of their clients first and foremost. Dr. Urich was the dentist I met back in the 1980’s. When he retired, he was replaced by Dr. McBroom. They are both top experts, very personable, friendly, caring as well as their staff and entire office. I will continue with River City Dental for the rest of my life. Seriously. Thank you RCD!

When you walk in the front door, you feel like you are at home. Diane at the front desk is always smiling and so nice just like everyone else. Dr McBroom is the greatest, and does a great job. I've always felt I can trust what he says and does is in my best interests. Everyone there are such good people and make you feel very comfortable
