People were very nice, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. That said the reason for 2 stars is the ridiculous fee I was charged for really 10 minutes of work took (2 digital xrays, you don't have to print them anymore) which cost $149. I usually have insurance, but as I have found out, since I am at a new job and these jobs are temp to hire, my insurance wouldn't have covered it even if I had it, since it hasn't been 6 months yet. My contract is being bought out at the end of this month and this wont be an issue anymore, well for me at least. It's a business, I get it, but charging a flat $149 fee to people without insurance when there was very little work done is just asinine. I would have figured you would have at least TRIED to do something to justify it, but no, not really. That's what got under my skin. Thing is, it's not really the money that is the issue. It's the work done for the cost. It's a rather poor approach. I mean you charge by the hour and had I not shown up for my appointment, it would have only been $40 or $50 for that matter. That would be a more acceptable charge in these types of sinstancez

The staff at Happy Rock Dental are all really friendly and professional. Dr Grutter and his staff are always a pleasure to see. Recently Dr Grutter replaced an old crown for me. Before the procedure, I mentioned that this crown was a spot that always caught food debris. Dr Grutter was able to adjust the new crown in a way so that it does not become a food trap every time I eat. Thanks to Dr Grutter and Staff I no longer have to deal with this issue.
