For very little money they repaired my entire mouth. You will need money, you pay upfront at each appointment and your experience with service will vary as their all students. The proffessors check their work before allowiing them to continue and everything ive gotten done is very well done so far. If you have some money to fix your mouth and want cheap services that have an expectation of quality, I recommend UMKC dental school.

I have been going to the School for over seven years. It is true that some students are better than others, but none of them have been bad. All were very competent. The treatments are not free, but the level of care you get for the money is outstanding. I highly recommend going to visit and obtaining a working relationship with your care giver. You won't be sorry.

Best value in the city. Good students, orthodontists, and great volunteers. Both receptionist, Tonya and Sylkia always have positive attitudes and help out in any way they can. Very happy with the services provided here.

I had a wonderful experience. My student dentist was Karlton Smith.
He was pleasant, explained everything he was going to do, and did an amazing job. It's time consuming, but you save money.

WARNING: Complete waste if you have a full time job. Several appointments just for simple xrays, and an inability to work with normal work schedules. I'm very very disappointed in the treatment i received. They were unwilling to treat my teeth that needed a crown before they did a cleaning and fix all the cavities I'm left unable to chew because of it and with a full time job i cant get in without taking off enough days to get fired and i still cannot afford a regular dentist. Thanks for getting my hopes up that id be able to get something done. Its truly disheartening to be stuck with bad teeth and no way to get in with my full time job.

YOU CANNOT CHOOSE WHAT TO FIX WITH YOUR OWN TEETH! They make you pay for whatever they deem is wrong and for some crazy reason if you need a root canal they make you pay for xrays then they make you get a cleaning and pay for that then fix cavities and then finally get the root canal you desperately needed from the start! They force you to go in that order and pay for anything they deem wrong along the way. You cant say hey i need a root canal first my tooth hurts without getting every cavity fixed and a cleaning even if your in pain. Absolutely unreasonable!

I have needed to see a dentist for awhile but have put it off due to fear til I had to broken wisdom teeth that gave me blinding pain. My dentist at this school was real nice, explained everything to me and did it all with no problems. I wish I knew his name but dont remember. I'd recommend this place to anybody. Keep up the great work ladies and gents.

I haven't went in to get my dental work done, nor will I ever after what I went through on the phone to set up a screening. The process it takes to set up a screening is no more than 3 minutes. They ask your name, date of birth and a date you can come in. Although it is her job, when I told her I wanted to set up a screening, she sighed so loud into the phone as if she was irritated that she had to do, once again, HER JOB. I told her I can call back and speak to someone else if needed but she said no. She got all of my information and rudely snapped, "I have Tuesday at 9:45 will that work or not?" Umm, sure it will. After I told her it would, she said she was going to mail me a reminder, without asking for my address, didn't say bye or anything else, just hung up. It literally went like this:

"I have Tuesday at 9:45 will that work or not?"
"Umm, sure it will..."
"I will mail you a reminder in the mail of your appointment."
CLICK.

Customer service is EVERYTHING and I WILL NOT tolerate being treated like crap by someone who hates their job. Not sure how I will get my reminder "mailed to me" either. A customer's experience starts as soon as they get on the phone with someone. Congrats, UMKC School of Dentistry, you just lost a paying customer.

I wish I could give less than one star , the cleaning was not professional and I asked to change the student they refused and they told me to stay with him till the graduation of the student WTF , the student wasn't good with the treatment so why I need to stay with him until he will be good . I refused to be a rat , also the funny thing I must to pay for the bad treatment .. I refused to stay with this student and they said they are going to disconnect me from the program .. Yes do it with my my pleasing. Bad experience I will never go there...

Great care and very professional and certainly cheaper than going through any other dental office by far! Only down side is they have nowhere for anyone to park. Better to get dropped off or uber.
