I am so thankful and grateful for Dr. William Scholtz, and his amazing staff at PLAZA Health Dentistry. They are caring; they listen; and they are skilled and knowledgeable. They fixed the problem that no other dentist could fix!!!
A (bad) dentist installed a crown, and left the crown really, really high. I had constant discomfort along throbbing pain. It hurt to eat; It hurt to sleep; it made my jaw feel lopsided because one side of my mouth was higher than the other side. My bite was off. My tooth was sore. My jaw muscles were sore because I was always trying to hold my left side of my mouth high to avoid striking the high tooth. The (bad) dentist didn't know how to fix it and didn't try. It was like they wanted me to stop coming back as if they thought I was imagining the pain.
When I realized the (bad) dentist couldn't help me, I went to 3 other dentists and 1 endodontist in hopes that one of them would be able to help me. The sad thing is that not one of them believed or understood that I had a problem, or knew how to fix it. But they still took my money.
Finally I discovered PLAZA!!!! Plaza Health Dentistry is the one and only dentist office that actually knew and understood what was wrong with me and how to fix it. Dr. Schlotz examined me and immediately determined that my crown was really high. He told me that this would take a series of treatments, and we would work on it until my bite has been corrected. Now I feel normal again!!! FINALLY!! I don't usually write reviews, but I have a great appreciation for Plaza Health Dentistry!!!! Even though they are not as close in proximity as other dentist offices, it is worth the drive. They are the dentist for me and my family!

I really want to give a higher rating because the original Dr.'s were wonderful. One left due to an accident and the other left suddenly. My husband had some extensive work done that we paid almost $7k out of pocket for. After the turn over happened, he had a titanium post break. He went back to see if it could be fixed (less than 6 months after the original procedure). Not only did they not guarantee the work that was done, they couldn't fix it and then charged him for the office visit to tell him that!! $7,000 out of pocket and that is the customer service we get?? I'm looking for a new dentist, I'm extremely disappointed. BTW-another post broke, still less than a year since the original work was done.
