Dentists of Carson City

They were able to help my Spanish speaking mother with her emergent dental issue quickly and made her feel comfortable. She says Dr Ross is a sweet man that will make sure she gets the proper care. Being afraid of the dentist this made her feel very well taken care of thank you !

Last week, I had a checkup and cleaning done after not seeing a dentist for approximately 7 years. Everyone at Dentists of Carson City made me feel right at home. They were super friendly, and easy to deal with. Fast forward to yesterday, when I had to get two cavities filled. I thought the process was going to be uncomfortable due to the stigma around dentists offices. Not the case here, I was in and out in about 25 minutes with absolutely zero pain. After the Novocaine wore off, my teeth felt exactly the same as they did that morning.

I can't recommend Dr. Ross and his team enough. If you need work done to your teeth, they're the people to go to. I'm actually looking forward to getting the other three cavities filled next week.

FRAUDULENT!! Needed a wisdom tooth and the one in front of it removed due to a cavity and some damage. Set an appointment for removal 11 days out. 2 days later, called me requiring a deposit to make sure I kept appt. Took my referral and deposit in person. At that time they told me that I was going to have to go under for the removal. They told me I needed to have somebody there to drive me after the surgery. They also told me that the person was to wait in the parking lot in the car and if they went anywhere while I was in the back, there was going to be a $50 charge added. While there gave them medical history. Ask them if there was anything else I needed to do to which I was told no. Couple days later they called and wanted me to get clearance from my primary care physician to get the teeth removed. Clearance was requested due to some issues I had with my heart which had been resolved 5 years prior, and I was in good health and back to normal for over 4 years. Went ahead and saw my doctor, who gave me a clean bill of health. Another couple days later they called me to have me come in for a pano xray. At that time they changed my appt time and when I told them I might not be able to be there at that time they told me it was then or not at all. Even mentioned charging $200 for missing the appt without proper notice. I said I'd be there.. 2 days later they called and stated I had to see a cardiologist before they would do the procedure and told me I didn't have one they can refer me to somebody. They said that it was very important because I was getting put under to get the 2 teeth removed. I've already had one wisdom tooth removed and they didn't put me under for that so I told them I'm not seeing a cardiologist just numb my mouth to take the teeth out. I've jumped through enough hoops just take them out. I've been in pain for almost 2 weeks just take it out. They still refused. Went to another oral surgeons office and told them of my experience and they were concerned about the fact that the other office was so adamant about putting me under to do the removal. The new oral surgeons office removed them with the numbing agent and me being awake and they were done in less than a half an hour. Zero problems and I'm almost healed. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This is a great Dentist office. The entire staff is very pleasant and kind.
Dr. Ross make you feel comfortable and at ease. Their dedication to making you happy with your results is greatly appreciated. From the moment you enter to when you leave has always been good. If you looking for a Dentist and kind staff this is the place.

This office was absolutely wonderful. They got me in so quickly to be seen. They were very friendly and nice, and definitely made me feel welcomed. The made sure I was informed about any problems I had as well as the plan of care. They even set me up on a payment plan that worked for my financial situation with no money down. The dentist had such a gentle hand that while drilling I actually fell asleep! 10/10 would absolutely recommend

I have to say, this has been a great experience with this dentist office. The Staff is kind and understanding to your needs. Dr. Boehme is an excellent dentist and explains everything thoroughly to you, of what care you'll need for now and in the future. The hygienist was so patient with me over my long procedure. She pays attention to detail. The Staff is upbeat and pleasant to be around and answers all my concerns. I say all this, after visiting 4 prior dentists, that I wasn't happy with. So, thank you Dentists of Carson City!! I finally found my Hallelujah!

Sure they pulled my tooth for a reasonable price but I am surprised that they didn't do anything for the pain that I am in now! I feel worse than I did when I went in this morning and all I was told was take some tylenol! I have 2 kids to take care of this afternoon and dinner to be made, homework to be done and lord knows what else and I'm ready to punch something it hurts so bad but you want me to take some tylenol? How about a little sympathy for your patients and give them something for pain!

I love Dr. Ross and his assistant's. I just had a horrible experience with Alissa, Very lazy and rude. I asked about my partial if it came in. Right off the bat she said "did they call you?" I said no She said "then they haven't come in yet". I said actually that's not true. I explained that I had called yesterday and the gal that answered took a message for someone there to call me back. She puts me on hold then comes back and say's "no they have not came in". I asked about getting a refund on my partial because the process is taking way to long! She states "I will have to check". I said will you please check and call me back?... Then she hung up on me.. No I will check or good, by nothing. Very poor customer service Alissa has and should be addressed. Other then my bump in with Alissa the rest rock!

Dr. Smith and his assistants are amazing! I am always nervous about dentists appts but they are so comforting and attentive and put me right at ease. Thank you for helping me today! Your team, even the front office girls, are so super nice.

Good dentistry but extremely poor communication between staff. I dealt with 8 different people in my regular visit and was told many different things by different people. Was first told I could only have half my teeth cleaned at a time for insurance reasons which didn't make any sense to me. The hygienist cleaned the whole mouth anyways but I was still scheduled for an appointment the next week for the other half to be cleaned. I was then called by the office and told I didn't need to come in again as the cleaning was already done. Then, on the day the cancelled appointment was supposed to be, I was called and told I have missed my appointment and will be charged a no-show fee. In addition, the whole experience felt way too "corporate" and not very personal. Will not be returning.
