Had my wisdom teeth surgically removed by Dr. Yu. Dr Yu is very professional. He discussed the plan with me before starting, kept encouraging me during the process. It went on successfully and didn’t even pain too much afterwards. Fully recovered in about 2 weeks. Very impressed. Many thanks to Dr Yu.

I had a tooth that had to come out. The dentist at Exit 1 tried extracting it for an hour but failed. I still vividly remember that hour -- I was mentally and physically stressed out. That dentist then claimed no dentist could pull the tooth out so he referred me to an oral surgery, who -- upon the initial phone chat -- asked me to pay an extra $400 only to take another "thorough x-ray". I was blessed because before I visited the oral surgery, a friend was talking about her great experience with Dr. Yu on social media.
So fast forward to this afternoon, for the same tooth that took the previous dentist *an hour* to pull out, Dr. Yu got it out within *10 minutes*, and I didn't feel any pain!!
Well, I didn't feel any pain at Dr. Yu's office when he pulled the tooth out, -- I AM feeling the pain now as the anesthesia wears off. But Dr. Yu "prescribed" ice cream as a pain killer! So, with a pint of vanilla bean ice cream next to me, I'm telling you how wonderful Dr. Yu is!
(P.S. When he was filling cavities of another tooth, I found his zen-like patience quite inspiring for my own daytime job.)

My wife, son and I have been coming to Dr. Pollack for almost 3 years. I am over 50, and have had several dentists over the years; some that were OK, and some that weren't. The first day I came to Dr. Pollack's office, I was made to feel like a family member - not a patient. Dr. Pollack and his professional team of administrators, technicians, and hygienists truly set the standard for ANY business (perhaps Todd will write a book someday). My family and I have had an assortment of dental work done, and in every case, they take the time to explain all options available, what they are looking for, and when they have identified an issue, they spend all the time I need to fully understand what it is, and how to best negotiate it. Finding a dentist who is honest with great "bedside manner", and who is also an absolute state-of-the-art professional, is like trying to find a good MD and mechanic - once you find one, you will never leave. My family and I have been fortunate enough to land on Dr. Pollack's doorstep; I hope you will too!
