Plymouth General Dentistry

Good service, but my appointment was cancelled because I missed a text message. I was reassured that there were other attempts to contact me, but I found neither an email nor a voice message requesting confirmation. The earliest they could reschedule was 4 months out. The good service doesn't do me any good if I can't get in. The time between the text message requesting confirmation and the message stating my appointment had been cancelled was about 30 minutes.

Review has been edited to address the owner's response: I appreciate that the owner has a right to defend their business, but I remember my conversation with the office manager well and I thought it was very pleasant considering the circumstances. The office manager reiterated their policy and offered me an opportunity to grab a recently cancelled appointment. I declined as I had already made an appointment for the following week with a different dentist. At this point, the office manager added that she understood if their policy didn't work for me and asked if I wanted to cancel the follow up I had already scheduled in April. I hemmed and hawed about it for a few seconds and then agreed to cancel it. I expressed that I understood their position (though I disagree with it as a customer) and thanked her for her time.

I appreciate that their records are inconsistent with what I have on my phone. I can only attest to the messages I was able to find when I got home to check. I make no claim regarding what their records show or the integrity thereof.

As I stated, I liked the service; they did a good job during my previous two appointments. I had hoped that a negative review would not prevent me from potentially returning in the future. However, the owner's last comment feels like an accusation and makes me feel unwelcome. I sincerely hope that this misunderstanding is due to technical/reception difficulties and is not a reflection of the general attitude of this business or the owner.

I love this place and the people in it! If I ever move away from the area, I'm still going here for my dental care! Everyone is friendly, the environment is safe and comfortable, and the dental care given here is top notch!! Highly recommend this practice!!

I had a great experience start to finish: from checking in with the nice ladies at the front desk to receiving individualized quality care during my cleaning. Everybody made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely come back for my routine dental care!

It is a pleasure to enter Plymouth General Dentistry a friendly and professional office which takes care of my dental needs. I have regular cleanings, and necessary xrays as needed. I required a crown be made with a temporary crown and a timely permanent crown put in place. It was an excellent experience. I required an Oral Surgeon and one was recommended to me to see. When I have had any emergency issue with my teeth, Dr. Joan Kirschner made the time to see me promptly. Everyone in the office is personable, respectful, and pleasant. All the staff at Plymouth General Dentistry makes it an overall good experience to have my teeth worked on!

Dr. Kirschner and her staff at Plymouth General Dentistry are amazing. I recently broke a tooth and needed to have a crown. She explained everything to me and everyone made me feel so comfortable. I will definately be returning to this great office!

I cant thank Dr. Kirschner and her staff enough for accommodating me so quickly. They fit me in to their busy schedule on an emergency basis and the care and compassion shown was above and beyond. you can be assured I will be returning to Plymouth General Dentistry for all my dental needs.

I have never met a more friendly, kind, considerate dentist. Plymouth is so lucky to have such a wonderful person join our area. She really cares about each and every patient, and tries hard to make everyone happy with their experience. Way to go Dr. Kirschner!

With my semi annual visit at General Dentistry in Plymouth NH.I was very pleased of my regular teeth cleaning visit at there office with their new cleaning tips.The new tips are smaller and less irritating.While still effective in cleaning your teeth.
The staff is very personable and caring.They are very professional and refreshing people in their trade.If I were to suggest a Dentist Dr. Joan Kirshner and her staff have been measured and weighed, are very noble.

Best dentist in the whole world. Exceptional customer service from every single employee. Dr. Kirschner is kind, thorough, and fair. You'll walk out of there with a smile. She never pushes you to get work done you don't need, she doesn't scold you or make you feel bad for not flossing, and she is realistic about where people are coming from with their dental care. She takes care of you and so do all the hygienists and technician. The environment there is very comfortable. Good lighting. Contemporary music. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea. They'll even give you a tablet with headphones so you can listen to music while you have a tooth being drilled. I've never ever enjoyed a dentist until I met Dr. Kirschner and I highly recommend her to everyone.

I haven't been to the dentist in a while, because, let's be honest, who enjoys the dentist? But I really like it here. I've been around for several owners of this place and I have to say Dr. K is definitely the best dentist I have ever had. The whole office is welcoming and full of smiles. I love walking into a place where everyone knows my name and actually remember tid bits about my life. It makes it a lot less painful in the waiting room! They also let you listen to your own music with a set of headphones just in case you hate the sound of the drill! They seriously go out of their way to make you feel comfortable here, and you can really tell. Dr.K's chairside manner is fabulous. Definitely the kindest dentist I've ever had.
