Plymouth General Dentistry

I've been going to them for 28 years. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months and I get my x-rays done. I take really good care of my teeth so I don't need anything Else Done . They are very professional.😊💓💓

Coming from someone who is typically terrified of dental work, Plymouth General Dentistry is hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. They are so friendly and professional and honestly just delightful to work with. They go above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable and at ease with any and all procedures you may need. I've never had an unpleasant appointment- even when I've had fillings or when I got my crown. I rave to all my local friends about how wonderful and professional they are and highly recommend their business to anyone looking for dental work! Before going to PGD, I used to DREAD dentist appointments, but now I actually look forward to seeing them when I get my cleanings done!

Like most people, going to the dentist was never something I looked forward to. But this practice changed all that. The team is very professional and immediately you can tell they all work together very well. Dr. Kirschner is so friendly and I feel at ease discussing my necessary treatment as well as options available. I would give this practice ten stars if it were available. They are like a family and I’m so glad to be part of it!

ZERO STARS IF I COULD...
went to this place recently, had a full set of x-rays and consult.
I had composites in my front teeth that were in place for a very long time and during my chemotherapy treatments, they had started to breakdown, I was in need of repair and chose this place for the convivence of dental insurance and location to home.
I had what I thought was a very nice visit and during my consult was given two options of having composites or porcelains done, when I went to check out, the receptionist only gave me pricing info for porcelains so, I asked for the pricing for composites and basically, I was told the dentist was not willing to do composites, so no pricing was given...
I asked to speak to dentist and basically based on her opinion thought that the long-term procedure was best for me and there for not willing to do the other procedure of composites...
I feel that it was pretty dam lousy for her to give me options but then not offer both as a service... Options, but no option, she chose for me and that was that!
My insurance, my money, my mouth...I don't get people like this, all she was interested in was her bottom line of $$$
Waste of my time and my use of my insurance (one exam, one set of x-rays per year...) How dare she think that this is, ok?
I was able to have x-rays forwarded, but my insurance paid for exam, so I in turn had to pay an exam fee at another dentist...
That is not a place service for me...ever!
Comparison cost with my dental coverage come to find out and since had done...
Composits - $187
Porcelains - $4000

I love my dentist! Dr. Joan Kirschner is one amazing woman! I was blessed to not only find such a knowledgeable dentist, but the kindest soul I have ever met. She is honestly a part of my family. She has helped me out in these tough times, without a blink of an eye. I don’t have the words to describe how much she means to me and how much I appreciate her.
Dr. Kirschner and her team post positive messages everyday! They put a smile on my face, and yes, sometimes I laugh out loud! They are kind, caring and beautiful human beings. FYI, I don’t have any cavities! If you’re in need of a dentist, don’t hesitate to be part of Dr. Kirschner’s family!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience at Plymouth General Dentistry was!!! I was very nervous as it had been quite sometime since I was last at a dentist. Dr k made me feel so comfortable. I was totally embarrassed by the condition of my mouth. She was so kind and caring and broke everything down into simple steps so I would not feel overwhelmed. The staff was also so friendly and kind!! I felt like I was part of a family!

I adore Plymouth General Dentistry. Joan and her staff are so wonderful! They are pleasant, positive, caring and professional. I have had a lot of dental work in my life. I was given tetracycline before the age of four, and as a consequence, my teeth never fully formed, were brittle and cavity prone, and a grayish yellow color. I had many cavities as a child, and eventually had my front twelve teeth replaced by crowns. I’ve had several root canals as well. I used to dread going to the dentist. Joan and her staff make me feel completely at ease in spite of my dental stress, and have found me a wonderful prescription toothpaste that helps me with my oral care. Everyone I have met is gentle and thorough and pleasant. I highly recommend Plymouth General Dentistry!

professional and compassionate care. I really like that they told me everything that they were doing and asked repeatedly if I was doing
