Smile Today has a great staff. Kind and personable. The staff is very helpful and very easy to speak to. Dr. P is very attentive to the concerns and issues you voice and takes the time to make sure that each visit is explained and thorough. They are very quick to help and willing schedule emergently if needed. After years of dentists, I can honestly say that Dr P and the staff at Smile Today is the best I've found. I decided to switch dentists after having two back to back negative experiences with my previous dentist. I'm glad I made the change. Dr. Pilar and staff are great. Office is very clean and sanitary. From the process of making the appointment to the day of the visit, it has all been a friendly, pleasant experience. Dr. Pilar and staff took their time doing thorough x-rays and explaining problematic areas. The procedure was comfortable, unlike previous experiences with other dentists.
I had a follow up visit almost 10 days later, that was smooth and quick. Dr. Pilar genuinely cares for her patients and their dental well being. I highly recommend Dr. Pilar.

I’ve been a patient for the last 4 years.
#1 they take my insurance (Aetna) so no issue (unlike my previous dentist) with having to pay and submit paperwork myself.
#2 the hygienist is THE SWEETEST and GENTLEST I’ve have EVER HAD. She remembers where I am sensitive and remembers things about me personally. I literally look forward to twice yearly cleanings.
#3 Dr Pillar is very nice and very competent.
Dr. Pillar does not try to talk you into doing work unnecessarily!
I’ve had horrible dentistS, who talked me into crowns that cracked below the gum line, or crowns that caused my root to die which means root canal plus a new crown, or the dentist that I had in midland Park who did caps on my 4 front teeth that were too yellow and evidently not tall enough because now there is silver showing at my gum line).

My husband, 2 young toddlers and myself have been seeing Dr. Pilar now for over 2 years. The office is extremely clean and all staff is very friendly and helpful. Heather is wonderful and always makes my kids feel at ease!
They have great Saturday hours too for my busy family.

Smile Today is exceptional in every way! Dr. Pilar is incredibly advanced in her approach to Dentristy offering the latest technology and advancements to anyone who is lucky enough to be one of her patients.
Her offices are clean and bright, and her wait time is minimal!
Her entire staff is lovely, and always accommodating.
It should also be noted, that during the initial onset of Covid-19 Dr. Pilar outfitted her offices and patient rooms with the best devices available for air purification, while also supplying her technicians & staff with the highest quality PPE to protect them and her patients. It was so comforting as a patient to walk in (finally) for a routine cleaning and see first hand how a business owner put her own staff’s safety as a priority as well as her patients. I am so thankful that she is my dentist and highly recommend her.
