Went in for a consult about a crown, done in their office 2 years prior, that had fallen off. The practitioner who had done the original work was no longer with the practice, so I saw a Dr. I had never seen before. First I sat briefly in the waiting area where there were unattended children whose guardian was presumably in having a cleaning, etc. When I was brought to the exam room, the Dentist did not sit down to examine my tooth, just poked the site two times with an instrument and proceeded to give me a laundry list of things that would have to be done - which added up to thousands of dollars worth of work, and indicated all of the possible horrible consequences if I did not do them (including "cosmetic" ones, as I am a woman). When I explained that I had no Dental insurance, he offered the suggestion of "just leaving it as is." For this 10-15 minute consult, I was charged $130. When I explained that the Dr. had not really done any work on my tooth, I was told that's just what it costs. Overall, an insensitive Dentist and staff. I left feeling scared, frustrated, ripped-off and helpless at what to do. Very disappointing. A little customer service skill and/or "bedside manner" would no go far wrong at this place. I do not recommend them. Subsequently, received much better treatment at the practice next door.

Been coming here since like, 2008 I think. Always great, I don't even know how my hygienist remembers me, and like everything I've ever said, but it's awesome. I've met with several of the doctors and they are all great.
It's clean, they're patient, efficient, and good.

Dr. Ruckert is very professional with his work and gives you detailed information of what’s going on with your teeth as well as what would be the best option to take care of any problems if they arise. Very friendly.
My hygienist Linda is great at what she does. My teeth always feel and look great after every checkup. She’s very friendly and will engage in conversation to make your experience a comfortable one.
Definitely would recommend anyone who is looking for a dentistry that ensures your teeth will be taken care of from start to finish in the most comfortable way possible.

Clifton Park Family Dentistry is out of the world the best dentist I have been to in all of my 30 years. Every time I have gone in they have been super friendly. When I get into the chair I don’t have to worry about them being rough and stabbing my gums, making the experience uncomfortable. I actually look forward going to Clifton Park Family Dentistry!
