Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The office was nice but not over the top. Anna gave the most thorough cleaning my teeth have had in a long time and she was a delight to talk to. Dr Jason was friendly, efficient and extremely professional. I didn’t feel pressured to do any unnecessary work but was listened to and a plan made for what I did need at a reasonable price.

Both Dr. Marks and the staff at Marks Family Dentistry have provided me with care that is competent and compassionate for the past 6 years. I have seen Dr. Marks for routine care and have relied on him, his staff and his connections within the Asheville dental community when I had a more complicated concern that required a referral. The Dental Hygienist, Anna, exudes a warm and natural kindness as she skillfully focuses on here work. She rides the serendipitous unicorn she found with grateful ease.
And Dr. Jason is confident, clear and present with a genuine human touch. More and more, he gives me the sense that when the game is on the line he is the one to take the winning shot.

The office is very conveniently located and comfortable. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. I had appointments for myself and my daughter and found Jason and Jennifer to be patient and practical and was very happy with the quality of their work. All around great experience. I would recommended this practice highly and without reservation!

This is the only dental practice I've gone to since moving to Asheville seven years ago. I really can't say enough good things about the doctors and hygienists. Going to the dentist isn't exactly fun (at least for me), but the staff is always helpful, kind, and competent. Importantly, I've never felt taken advantage of or pressured into any services I didn't need. Highly recommended.

I went in for a cleaning and when the hygienist was done the doctor came in and gave my teeth a once over. Pretty standard cleaning based on my last +40 years of experience.
I was charged $120 for the cleaning and to my surprise another $60 for the dentist once over.

I found this practice based on high recommendations by a retired periodontist (gum surgeon) friend of mine when an upper front upper tooth replaced. They've since become my primary dentist since I was very impressed with their work. All of the staff have a high degree of care and professionalism; and the music they play in the background is not mind-numbing. Works for me.
