Wonderful, cheerful staff. Humble dentist who knows how to say please when she asks a staff member to do a task. So refreshing to see in this day and age! Excellent attitudes and skills on display. Highly recommended!!!

Service and employees are enjoyable, but they let you think you're getting requested services only to be told at the end that "they didn't understand you wanted said services *today*..." ?? But you're still charged much more than you expected (considering you're not getting the services you thought you were), which they then smile and tell you is for the joy of being a "new patient"... despite having been a Dentistry of the Carolinas patient for years?!!?! Then Dr. Karan apologized and told me to call "corporate" to discuss. Then I'm told by the Southpark office that there is no "corporate" for me to talk to , but that they'll transfer me to someone's voicemail and they'll give me a call back. Life is hard enough without all this malarky from a dentist. EPIC FAIL.
Today: "Frankie" calls me and I can immediately tell by her tone that she's spoken to all involved, has gathered her information and is ready to deny me at every turn. Not once did she ever say - "hey, thanks for being with DOC for so long..." which tells me the overall mindset at DOC is not at all to be grateful for customers that chose them over the years, but to simply -arm and defend- todays issue to the death... lose a long time client or not. Cool. I don't operate that way - especially when I'm not using insurance, so don't need to follow whatever insurance dictates. Apparently DOC has forgotten the days when people paid 100% for their services and expect to know what's actually being done to their body and the cost for those services. I guess some people are ok with having zero control over their health, their bodies, their teeth, their decisions, their radiation, their dollars... I am not one of those people.

My girlfriend and I were recently referred to Dentistry of the Carolinas, Steele Creek. Everyone from reception, to my dental hygienist, Terry, to dentist, Dr. Karan were extremely friendly and welcoming. The office was easy to find, clean and precautionary measures were taken per COVID guidelines. I would not hesitate to refer anyone here and will use them as my new dentist in Charlotte moving forward. Thank you for a great experience!

Just arrived home from having a filling replaced and was a wonderful experience. A dental appointment is not one of my favorite things to do, frankly I am scared out of my mind. After not sleeping at all last night due to worrying about the drill and pain I drag into the office first thing this morning and Dr. Karan talked to me about my tooth and she really put me at ease . I still cannot believe I am already home and no pain. Dr. Karan is not only a great dentist but truly cares and takes the time to help patients feel comfortable and remain at ease during the procedure. The office takes all precautions against Covid and is extremely clean, the staff are friendly and very professional. Needless to say I would highly recommend Dr. Karan and her staff . Phyllis Tittl

Dr Newell's practice has been left in good hands. DOC has remodeled and updated many things. The staff remained in place which I love. They are very efficient. Looking forward to getting to know Dr Karen better. I have been with this practice over 30 years.

Outstanding great professionalism made me feel right at home just like family I recommend this fabulous establishment to anyone. PS, I never liked visiting the dentist but they changed the game for me.
